Years ago I saw the movie "Hedwig and the angry inch". Two years ago I went to the off broadway touring company play at a small theater in Hartford,CT. At the time I was 53 and never seen or met someone like myself. Thirty percent of the audience were transgendered.
I loved the play because it spoke to me personally. I bought the soundtrack and my favorite song was "Wicked little town"It is a very pretty ballad. Get the album. It's worth it! Here are the lyrics:
Forgive me for I did not know
Because I was just a boy
And you were so much more
Only God could ever plan
More than a woman or a man
Now I understand
How much I took from you
And when everything starts breaking down
You take the pieces off the ground
Show this wicked town somethingbeautiful and new
You might think that luck has left you there
But maybe there's nothing up in the sky but air
And there's no mystical desire
No cosmic lover pre-assigned
There's nothing you can find
That can not be found
Cause with all the changes you've been through
It seems the strangers always you
Alone again in some new wicked little town
When you've got no other choice
You know you can't follow your voice
Without the turns and noise of this wicked little town
It's a wicked...little town
Our wicked...little town
Love
Jeannie
My personal theme song. Hedwig says it best!

It's really special to be able to find music that expresses what we feel like that, sometimes things that we can't even put into words, or perhaps the words need the music to fully articulate themselves
Thanks for sharing your song

everything under the sun is in tune
but the sun is eclipsed by the moon
