chick car

Post by Absaroka »

I bought a new car today. I brought my 15 year old daughter with me to make sure the kids would fit in the back. She was very enthusiastic about the car, saying it was comfortable and so on.

So as we were driving home she told me it was a great chick car. (It's a Toyota Echo) I of course sudddenly realized some of her enthusiasm had to do with her hoping to drive it in another year.

I never thought of what car I owned as being a form of CDing though ..rofl.. ..rofl.. ..rofl.. ..rofl..

An Echo? How odd? Then again, I have a friend whose wife just recently replaced her "cheap" Jeep with an Echo...

I really thought of Mazda MX-6 and Mazda Miata as "Chick" cars. I know four people who have Miata(s), and all four present as female, one of which is a mother, another is living accrose the street with an apparent male, and one of which was briefly married to a male relative of mine. Too small a sample for a definitive conclusion, but it certainly matches the episode of "Yes Dear" where they labeled the car as such.

Hugs,

Given today's gas prices a Toyota Echo isn't such a bad idea.

All I see here on Long Island are ppl driving Hummers, Escalades & any other high-priced, gas-guzzling SUV you can think of.

And yet all of these pompous, pretentious, materialistic MORONS will still moan about the gas prices... ugh. I seriously want to smack the lot of them. :?
