My New P/T gig - I LOVE Massage Chairs!! :)

Post by Lorna »

For the month of December in an effort to boost my holiday shopping ability, I took a second job (only 2 days a week, don't worry, LOL) at this really nice shop in the city that sells these massage chairs.

And the beauty is that I'm getting paid more for two days there than I was getting at Macy's for a whole week. And I'm only working ONE Sunday all month!!!

Plus ths is a nice upscale atmosphere with a civilized clientele (no crowds, no screaming kids, no strollers, NONE of that, hee hee)

When the shop closed this evening at 7 the first thing I did was plunk myself down in one of the chairs and pressed the ACCUPRESSURE button. Oh wow.... did it ever feel good! I have to have one of those chairs. So I am giving myself the next few months to save up for one.

Hi Lorna--
I can't help but be impressed by the info that two days work there is equaling a week at Macy's. Way to go! Yes, I love those chairs. My chiropractor has one, and it and I are old friends now.

OMG!!

Just got my first check from this part-time gig - Okay.... I made more money there in 2 days than I ever made in an entire week at Macys! WOW!!

This P/T job is definitely a keeper... and stress levels are quite low... but the truth is that this is a short term gig (only thru January) so I shall ride this puppy for as long as I can!! @@9@@
