Buying your first skirt or some panties

Post by Mark »

My Mother bless her soul, taught me well. She was sick and more than not I would have to do her shopping for her. PS. I was the oldest child. I had to buy my sister some feminine produces that was the first time. Then the real test I had to by panties for my mom. I did not like that because she was my mother. Two I am a male! All my mother did is laughed. Mark You just walk over and pick out what I asked you to then go pay. If you make a big fuss the Sales lady will probably think you are buying them for your self.

Well once inside J.C.Peny's I went to the woman's department and walked over picked up the package of panties she said to buy then paid for them and walked home. Since that day I have bought panties slips bras dresses and skirts. It is a mind set I even seen a girl helping her boy friend by a skirt for him self.

Mother's are smart that way.

One way to get past the initial nerves of buying fem items.

How fortunate you both were. My mother was very dissapproving.

My first skirt I purchased, along with other absurd items - like a hammer - to disguise the real motive behind my purchase. My heart was pounding the entire time. I'm sure it really didn't fool anyone, but I thought so at the time, which is all that was necessary.

My second skirt was first a pleated plaid skirt of my girlfriend's. I had to disassemble and reassemble it as a kilt - to make the waist large enough to fit me. I learned sewing by hand!

Along the way, I learned to operate a sewing machine, and even to design some of my own clothes.

Finally, I got the nerve to shop the thrift stores and garage sales, and build an ostentatiously large wardrobe. But that took 28 more years!

Hugs,

Bernice, my mother's mother was raised in an err when boys and girls wore the same clothes until the boy was about seven or a little younger. And because of this, My grandmother would send all my aunt Linda's underwear and dresses and skirts to my mom who gave them to mothers that had little girls, Saying the boys can use them. It was years later I found out I wore girl's shorts and I remember wearing girl's T-shirts with the puff sleeves, yellow, powder blue...
My mother and Granmother believed that young children did not realize what gender they were until about the first grade.

In some ways those were more enlightened times?

I believe gender behavior is taught, based on arbitrary criteria. Gender identity is clearly another matter.

I recently noticed my brother was wearing women's shorts. When I finally commented, he had no idea. Fortunately he has not seen fit to dispose of them for such trivial reasons.

Though I vaguely remember trying to look upskirt at a female classmate in second grade, I suspect your mother was probably years ahead of her time.

Hugs,

My Mother

Bernice it was my mother who got me to wear girl's panties. I was complaining about how my underpants were binding me up while I slept at night. Mom Said try girl panties with the elastic leg bans. I was looking for an excues to wear panties and I jumped at the chance. They did stop me from being bonded up at night. That was when I was real young in my 20's and early 30's

I do not remember when I bought my first pair of panties I think it was after highschool. I do remember when I wore my first pair of panties. It was middle school (which is what 7th and 8th grades are called in CA). I had taken a pair from my sister. My first skirt which I have listed here was last year.

Don't know now what gender they were but I was mortified when on the first day of 1st grade I had to pull my pants down to pee in the boys room because they had no fly. That not withstanding it was my impression that they were boys underwear. All the boys lined up at the urinals after lunch and a number of them found this amusing. I went home, told my mom I need underwear with a fly and never wore the other kind again until I discovered womens about 2 years later.
