How did you find this forum?

Hi all,

For me, it was an easy migration from the CDDF; like Jadeanne, I saw a post by Shannon back in November of 2003 and just moseyed on over. The CDDF was a little too "catty" for my tastes, anyway (although I still pop in there, once in a while).

Hi CJ, What is the CDDF? It sounds like a crossdressers group in the Soviet Union.

Like someone else mentioned I do not remember exactly how I ended up here I just know that this is one of my FAVORITE sites to go to ever day and chat and smuches with other of like mind. This is one of the great things about this site the commodership (sp?).

I found this forum because this is where Elizabeth came for suppert when she was first learning about crossdressing, and she wanted me to come here so I could get a better understanding. Of course I love it here and everyone is so nice.

I used to belong to a couple of cd forums a few years ago but drifted away because they were never active enough and there were few gg's posting there back then which is what I was most interested in at that time. Then around the fall of last year, I just decided it was time to find a good forum again, so due to a combo of googling and a recommendation from a friend, I found my way here.

I like the fact that there are more gg's here and have enjoyed meeting you all, as well as the great gals who make his forum what it is. One big family. Not always a happy one, but hey, that's what keeps it real. A positive outlook though is what I enjoy seeing the most and I haven't been disappointed yet.

Hi All,
I was just sitting in front of my computer one day and said to meself " Self, Why don't you seach the internet for Crossdressing "So I did and found this Forum and a couple more that I joined, But I liked this one the best. I luv the chat on Sat. nites and the way this Forum is setup.

The CDDF is a hoary old board run by James--it's been around forever, it seems (almost ten years, if I'm not mistaken). The site is hosted by Parsimony, a hosting service with servers based in Germany. It's ad-supported and only very lightly moderated... often making it the target of choice for trolls and other assorted jokers with too much time on their hands. In the past few months, the hosting service has had to step in and lay down the law (so to speak) because the place was becoming a veritable zoo.

My recommendation is that you avoid the site (unless, of course, your cynicism reserves regarding the human race are running low

Oh boy did that forum ever go to h*ll in a handbasket! This forum appealed to me because the members here have class

which is what the other place was sorely lacking.

I linked in from a brit website, cant recall which, but could have been Beaumont.
I like this site above all others because I have never been propositioned for sex, as has occurred on a brit site. Its not catty, like most brit sites, and there are some lovely genuine people here who really care!
eg Beauty, Amelie, Lorna, CJ, Virginia to name but a few. There are more but I have had a few too many Bacardi's to remember tonight.

This is my only forum and I have been here since my birthday two years ago.

Wow, this is so cool. I've often wondered how people find this forum. It's interesting to see how most of us have navigated the www to end up here. I am saddened to see so few recommendations from friends. I'm not surprised, though. My own recluse nature, my tendency to keep "the secret" safe is certainly what keeps me from sharing this site with all my friends.

Thank you ladies, your responses have surely made my day. They make me think, too.

I voted other, because while i believe that i came accross this site via an internet search engine, it was when the site was very new and there was not much information here. And at that time i was devouring what i could get for decent information about cding. I later came back via post reference on the cddf to get away from the junk.
