Nancy Ganz "Svelte Belts" Control Bands
This set of stretch nylon control bands includes two bands measuring 7 and 14 inches wide. These versatile pieces may be worn wherever you need them--on the tummy, hips or both. Stretch nylon fabric allows clothes to lie smoothly, so no one has to know! Style #8312.
If this is what I saw advertised on the tube, there is no boning, and a bad case of double roll-ups may make them obvious. Be sure they are proportioned to your bod, and that they are not too tight!!

Sorry ladies, but you know what I say - diet and exercise is the best thing to do to keep that lovely lady looking her best. If you think she is worth it then you got to be willing to pay the price!
Love ya,

with Virginia! Diet and exercise are the key, not those contraptions that will "squeeze" your body into a smaller size - not to mention what side effects those contraptions could cause to your internal parts!! Just think how glad you are to get out of those too-tight jeans at the end of the day - the 'Svelte Belts' Control Bands and similar items are about twice as tight as those jeans!!
Between eating healthier foods (and smaller-sized portions), and exercise I've been able to lose - and keep off - a total of 10 lbs during the past few months. That's 2 sizes smaller, ladies. Not only does the weight loss look great, I'm healthier.
Forget the "contraptions" - - diet and exercise are more important.

Umm, well, uhhh, the method that *my* coach and I use does provide quite a workout, calories are burned up, and it causes sweat . . . are you sure that doesn't qualify as 'exercise'??

OK ladies I have to chime in here, I have been trying for 6 months to lose 30# and have manage to drop only 8#.
I ask the doctor about it and he saids I'm doing fine, slow off will keep it off.
Now my problem is a beer belly and he saids it takes time and exercise, hell I'm a ridge running hillbilly now and the weight still stays with me. I cut my meals to almost next to nothing but the old scale doesn't lie and I still can not get into a 12 dress. Oh well I still have the heart and desire and I will make it
someday. Carol Ann
Rena,
Crunches, honey, no full situps, can really hurt yourself! Lay on your back, knees well bent . To start, hands on your tummy and ROLL yourself up only about 3 -4 " then back down, you will feel the contraction - that is all you need. Do no more than 10 -12 about threes times for the first few days then add more repartions as you feel yourself get stronger! Then you want to move your hands to behind your head and reduce the reps until you get use to that.
You can also add leg raises to the regiment if you want. Again lay on your back, legs together and straight out in front of you. Raise them 3" - 4" off the gound and hold for a five count then down. As you get better, same height, but hold longer and then flutter kicking and spreading them wide, slowly (best not done in a skirt!)
Good luck and as I have told my other sisters, is it hard work - yes! Is it worth it? Look in the mirror at Rena and let her tell you if its worth it!
