Cute outfit

Post by Steffie »

Hi girls,

My wife and I were watching TV last night and this commercial came on for JC Penny with this girl modeling a really cute outfit. My wife then said out of the blue that she thought that outfit would look good on me. She then went to the JC Penny site and ordered the skirt, blouse, jacket and even the purse for me. The shoes they didn't have in my size but once you get an outfit, you've got to get shoes to match! :) I then found a nice pair (similar) from Payless on their site later on. I'm glad I watched TV with my wife. :) Assuming I did this right, the link below should show the outfit on the model.

Steffie
I've been admiring that outfit for a week or so on their site. JCP has always been a fave source for me (matter of fact..wearing one of theirs in my avatar). But lately..thay have some lovely skirts. It seems they are changing their fashion lines from what I've read, and for the better. Well..I'm glad we live 1200 miles apart, because if we showed up at a meeting in the same outfit....uhoh :P
Hope you enjoy your new things

Wow, Steffie - that's a really cute outfit, and I think that will look great on you, too!! I *really* love those shoes - Payless has them, huh? Gee, I'm feeling the pull of the stores again - who cares that I don't need another pair of shoes - 'need' has nothing to do with it!!

Do enjoy your outfit - - and how about some pics of you in it, too?

Very cute outfit Steffie. The jacket appears to be a crushed velvet?

Thanks, girls, for the kind words. I'll try and get my wife to take a picture next time I dress. My wife and I went shopping last night at the mall too (me in male mode) and she got me (Steffie) some things at Limited: a skirt and some capri pants. We then went to Macy's to look and my wife got herself and me another outfit. She has really been into shoping the last couple of days. lol

A side note to the this story: Interesingly, we passed the makeup counter and to be brief, although I just noticed a girl working there, after we get to the esclator, my wife tells me the girl I saw was really "a guy" as she termed it. (She then brought me back around and showed me) I never would have known. This girl was passable to me and got to work at Macy's makeup counter to boot! That's so cool! I now wonder how many times I may have passed CDers before when I'm in male mode and didn't notice?

Hi Donna,

I'm sorry. I just realized I forgot to answer your question. The jacket is 58% polyester, 35% rayon and the rest spandex. It came in today. I know on the pic it does look like crushed velvit though.

I like a couple of the outfits in that commercial, but particularly that one. It's nice to see I'm not the only one that appeals to.
