Spent time with my father

Today I spent time with my father dressed as my femme side.He is fully supportive of my crossdressing.He never spent time with me dressed as my femme side.He wanted to know my femme side and he did.It went very well and my father told me this:You are the daughter I never had in my life.I told him thank you and we hugged.So far my father likes my femme side.

I am very happy for you! It is so nice to have the support of family, especially the male side of the family. When my wife outted me to her family and I quote, my brother-in-law said,"If he hurts my sister I'll kill him!" I never really knew my father, but what I remember, I don't think he would approve, he was a "dirt farmer" in Texas and died when I was 19. I only saw him twice in my lifetime. Anyway, you can feel proud to have your father accept you! Congratulations for having the intestinal fortitude to face him and glad it worked out!!

You have a great Dad Jessicaa. I never told my Father and he died last year at 91 years young. I don't know if he would of understood. I had to wait for my parents to pass on before coming out. My 19 and 22 year old know and like me more. Go figure. However my wife's friends and family don't even speak to me anymore. Great! I lucked out.

You are doing well if that's the response from your father. Good for you!
My dad is 95, and is OK with it, as far as I can tell. But I have debated on whether he should "meet" me or not. Glad it went well for you!

Hi Jesicaa,

I'm happy for you. Did you have a hunch before you told your dad that he would accept? I never told my father. I think he would ultimately accept but he might also feel hurt and I don't want to put him through that. I just don't have the courage to. I'm glad your dad fully accepts you though. Congrats.
