Hi girls,
Yesterday I went to a ball game in male mode with my wife (at Yankee Stadium). I didn't bring a cap. My wife got a cap for her before we went in. It was this pink Yankee cap. Well the sun was shining upon us. My wife also had a warm-up suit on with a hood. Well since she had a hood, I ended up wearing the cap. It was either get sunburn or wear the cap and risk stares. I chose the stares over sunburn. No one stared though which was a good thing. However, it was like I was Steffie yesterday in a sense. lol
I think next time I dress as Steffie and if I wear jeans, maybe I'll try and wear that cap. I never really thought about wearing a cap on a wig before but I'll try and see how I look. I see more girls wearing caps nowadays anyway.

Hi Steffie
I think people are becoming aware more that there are TV, TS's and crossdressers in the world! I'm also sure that the increased focus on people having Gender realinement surgery and the media attention, television programs, and the like are making people aware, that it is not abnormal, and also given that a hi percentage of people have considered, or have tried some form of crossdressing! (be it one item or many!) Hence people are a bit more understanding that our parents and grandparent generations. ie it is now more acceptable than it ever has been!
As for the hat issue, I think everyone has worn something that didn't suit or look right at some point in there life, but not many "Real men would wear a pink cap in a crowd
" but you will probably find they were thinking, I wish I had a hat like that, if they didn't have one at all, and sometimes when the sunshine cover is better than non!!!!
As for wearing a cap with a wig, difficult call, if you have a petite head you might get away with it, but i've found when i've tried it, my head size 22" plus wig, plus hat looks two big, but it might work with a long flat one. all I can say is give it a go, and let us know how you get on!
