A Blue Daisy

Post by Danielle La Belle »

There was a field of flowers just over the hill. 10,000 yellow daisies were in full bloom. Much to my surprise, right in the middle of the field, there was a rather unusual site.... a blue daisy.

This got me to thinking, how and what would happen to the little blue daisy over time. Of course it would follow the preordained process that all daisies go through, but, what if I were to carefully pick this daisy from the patch. So carefully as to not leave any trace of the existience of the blue daisy behind for anyone to find at a future time.

No matter what I did with this little blue daisy, the fact remains that it did exist even for a short time. It broke the mold and made it's appearance known among all the other yellow daisies which certainly did not seem to mind.

What if you pop-up in a major city, in a major league sized crowd. Would you be any less than any one else even if you made this appearance for a very short time as preordained by the creator? I think not.

For in some manner, we are all blue daisies among the yellow ones, we just need to keep this in mind the next time a yellow daisy makes fun or worse. Because, we all come from the same hill, the same garden, the same stream of life.

Pass the "puffs" please.....

Hugs

Cool post and an interseting way to look at life. I love the symbolism of the single blue daisey.

Yes we are different, but we are as beautiful as any other flower on the hill and our uniqueness just adds to the over all beauty of the hillside!!!
Love you,
