I'm not the rock goddess some others here are, so I consulted the web, but I did know some of them without looking:
Patti Scialfa: the E Street Band (Bruce Springsteen)
Jane Wiedlin: The Go-Gos
Tina Weymouth: Talking Heads AND The Tom Tom Club
Maureen Tucker: the Velvet Underground
Kate Pierson: The B-52s
Wendy O. Williams: The Plasmatics
Jeffrey Ross Hyman is the birth name of the late Joey Ramone.
The answers in color are the ones I didn't have to look up. Still, I like to think I'm fairly well-educated for a so-called youngster.

I know Susanna Hoffs was in The Bangles but the others I don't know. People thinking you are young is relative Hon. My Dad died in 2005 at 91 and he thought a 70 year old was young!
I have some posts of some other ladies I've admired in my life in the gaming place but from differant professions. They were all pioneers for women. Hugs

Okay, I guess my selections were dictated by my age, or lack thereof.
Amy Lee is the lead singer of Evanescence. In a perfect world, I'd look like her.

Susanna Hoffs is part of the Bangles. I listened to them all through high school, then they sort of dropped off the radar. I did see them New Year's Eve on the Dick Clark program. They did "Eternal Flame", and it sounded so good it brought me to tears.
Nicole Scherzinger is the lead for the Pussycat Dolls. They only recently came to my attention because I heard their song "Don't You" in a vodka commercial.
