Hello to Everyone

Post by Rose Darn »

Hi, my name is Rose Darn
I, like so many, need a forum like this fine place. I am looking forward to reading more about the issues that face each and every one of us in our daily lives. Like most, I have been hiding for too long and would like very much like a place to express my true inner self. I have been married for 30+ years and have a truly treasured family
Thank you, I look forward to chatting with each of you.
With Love,
Rose 8)

Your correct, I did not say anything about my wife. She knows, I first brought this subject up to her 20 years ago. We have a very special relationship, one that I feel fortunate to share with her. I do not lie or try to mislead her, never have, but this does not mean that I always volunteer information. After the initial shock, anger, confusion (that we both share), she asked that I be discreet and not in her presence, and she would not support my CDing. I have always tried to meet her request, but time and space overlap and so do our paths. She deals with this issue in her own way, I have patience.

Hi Rose,
I am sorry that your wife doesn't understand. My wife didn't talk to me for over two weeks. It took going to a Tri-Ess meeting and meeting other wifes and a person to person talk with Betty Rudd that pointed her on the path of WHY we do what we do. Coping in her own way and not understanding can cause problems, try a Tri-Ess meeting if possible. (--) Carol Ann

Hi Carrol Ann
I don't expect my wife to understand. First "I" must understand and then I might be able to explain it to another. She is not mad at me for this ( or about me for this, hehe). We do have our disagreements, but generally not about CD issues. If she wants, or needs to talk, I am there to listen to her no matter the subject. Over the years, we have come to our own understanding and agreements. She is just a country girl (like me) and the CD issue is a tender subject, one that thankfully does not come up very often.

Hi Rose,
Welcome and hope you can both share and contribute. Thirty years is a long time -- I know all too well!
You are aware, I hope that we do have a special site for SO/GG's to share without the "prying eyes" of the "guy's in dresses!" So invite her to come and visit as well. I am sure that she would find that most interesting!
Love,
Virginia
