Isn't it funny...

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Hi girls,

Call me crazy, but I have come to be able to find that a human being might have a worth other than what I might surmise from their garb. Not sure how I came to have that opinion.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Thanks Elizabeth and Curly,

Back when I was a kid I was told not to judge a book by it's cover and not to judge people by their appearances. I still try to live by that even though I would rather look at an attractively dressed and shaped woman. That's my shortcoming, not theirs.

I'm going to go back to something Jeannie said. We are all (except the SOs) just men in dresses. Now we are men in dresses judging women in dresses or at least some sort of womens clothing. About as ridiculous as one can get and perhaps a great idea for a stupid sitcom. Certainly not something to be taken too seriously

We had a secretary named Denise where I work. Beautiful woman. She's not there any more, but she would wear a dress every day, in beautiful colors. In a world of grey and brown and navy blue she was wearing shiny gold and bright red and hot pink. She's my mentor. I love to buy vintage dresses from the Seventies on Ebay, and very often I have bought a dress just because it reminded me of a dress that I saw her in. To me, she never lost the joy of being female.

It's easy to say that if I were a woman I would wear pretty dresses every day everywhere I went, but I'm sure that eventually I would start to settle for wearing jeans. After all, I once heard some female-to-male transsexuals on the radio, talking about being on the subway and seeing men that just didn't seem to realize how great it was being a man and wearing a tie. I hate wearing a tie! They're uncomfortable, and I'm so glad I have a job where I can wear jeans to work.

God often gives nuts to people with no teeth.

You clothes horse you Aileen! You have such nice taste in dresses. You are nice and tall and if I tried to wear some of those dresses at my height I'd look like a Umpa Lumpa! Hugs!
