I think her part ended up on the cutting room floor though.
Men and women growing older. Want a GG's opinion.

We all have it but I never knew it till now! Sweet!
I don't know about you Virginia but I can also make young children cower behind their Mothers and make babies cry just by them seeing me. Honey we have The Power. I'll be using it tomorrow. Mini asked me to come over her condo to remove her couch and chair because she is having new ones delivered on Tuesday. Jeannie loves to jump in the truck and move furniture. After twenty five years with "The Warden" it's my turn to have a little fun! Hugs

PS. I think of the Mastercard commercial Virginia
A weekend retreat to a spa.....
A new gown from Neiman Marcus......
The expression on Mini's face when she see's me glammed to the max..........PRICELESS!
We are such bad eggs Virginia! Pure evil!

Men complain if they have to go for a prostate exam and women have to edure much more pain and discomfort with OBGYN exams and mammograms and never complain. Men are the stronger sex. I think not! They are the wussies! If the world were run by women it would be a much better place They would think long and hard about going to war before killing the children they bore and would negotiate and killing would be the last resort.I hate to say this Silver Lady but men f----- up the world.
I have to take issue with this. Golda Meir, Indira Gandhi, and Margaret Thatcher were all world leaders when their countries were at war, and they were not at all shy about sending their troops into battle.

They all listened to their men advisors and men Generals. Asking a Military man his advice about going to war is like asking a tire salesman if he thinks you need new tires. What do you think he is going to say?
As for Golda Meir, Israel is in a very tough situation . They're country is bordered by other people who believe they don't have the right to exist. They are forced to shoot first and ask questions later. It's a matter of survival. It's almost impossible to negotiate with people who are commited to your total destruction.
We here in the US are very lucky. As a Real Estate agent always say's"Location, location, location. We have Canada to the north and Mexico to the south and thousands of miles of oceans separating us from the rest of the world. I believe if we happened to be located in Europe, the middle east, Africa or Asia our long standing policy of using other countries for our own financial, strategic or insatiable appetite for energy resources our policies would be quite different.
At 230 years old we are the new kids on the block as far as the world is concerned. Most other countries have ten times the years of history under their belts. Religious and ethnic conflicts going back thousands of years. Our government never seems to understand that fact. Don't get me wrong.I'm glad I live here and I know no government is perfect. But the path we seem to be taking is that of The Roman Empire. Supreme arrogance. Do as I say,not as I do. I think the government doesn't realize that they are spreading our military very thin all over the world. Our manufacturing base is eroding because CEO's send the work overseas so they can reap huge profits and salaries at the expense of others who can't make a living wage elsewhere. The US is putting itself at great risk. That's just my opinion. Hugs

Jeannie, I think you're sort of on the right track. But it has been my opinion that men let them selves get into this rut of depending on the SO to do for them. I for one have been successfully fending for myself when I'm not in a relationship. Anything a woman can do I can do as well. I'm talking about domestic chores and self preservation. When and if I am moved into a nursing home, my brooding will mostly be about not being able to fish, camp, travel and enjoy this wonderful land of ours. Besides I will most likely have alzhiemers and won't remember what to do with an erection if I got one.

Good for you Veronica. I too can do anything a GG can do--except give birth to babies and have a period--and I'm working on the period. hehehe
As a matter of fact, I've been single more years than married in my adult life and have been taking care of MYSELF all that time. (That doesn't mean I've not dated but just not married any of them.) Even in my years of greatest depression, it was ME who did the tasks in my life and not some GG.
So NOT ALL Males are as such. Some of us are female enough to know how to do all a woman can do. Even to standing great pain as I once broke 7 ribs and punctured my left lung....and THAT was pain.
I depend on my Self because if I don't do it, it won't get done!
