I don't want to make this sound overly dramatic since I have chosen the weight loss side, but is there any alternative to keep my rather sexy breasts the way they are while being on a diet and excersizing?
I am very tempted to go the hormone way a little (I wear a 36b before weight gain) and understand the risks healthwise, but surely, there's a health coach around that can pinpoint places to lose tonage (just kidding).
I'm doing a low carb diet and have seen the effect the Atkins has had on some women I know, and it was amazing in a very short time. Though of course to keep it off....
Not only did the lose they bulging waist, but chest size declined dramatically. Jeez. I was even tempted to inject saline/water for a while, if even for a short term effect. Don't worry. I've sobered up since then!
If anyone has some ideas I would be greatful indeed.

One cannot choose where the weight will come off when dieting or exercising. Your body chose where to put it and will choose where it loses it.
You can do chest exercises to increase the muscle mass in you chest. With that increase and the remaining fat, you may be able to maintain your size.
Taking hormones will work, as long as you do it under a doctor's care. Problem is, a side affect of hormones is weight gain.
Haven't clue how the Atkins diet will affect your desire to increase breast size using hormones.

Reminds me of an event Saturday.
To begin, I have a weight machine, like bowflex, called a Crossbow. It has been sitting dormant in the basement for more than a year.
Monday I made room around it and dusted it off, and started using it Tuesday morning.
I have a ladies lycra tank top with a built in band that acts like a sports bra, so, for motivation, I wore it and inserted my small breast forms. I wore tights and an exercise skirt. I did the same on Thursday, and again Saturday morning.
On T and Th, my wife was at work and didn't see me dressed that way. Sat. she did, but didn't say anything. Later, I was talking to her about going out to eat and she asked, "what have you got on?"
I pulled out the forms and showed her, then went to shower. Later she said I had her worried all day. Why?
She thought they were my real breasts, and was wondering/worried how I had managed to gain so much weight.

Congratulations on the weight loss. It is not an easy thing to do.
I would think that exercising the pectorals would be the best way to go. And remember that a slimmer waist will make what you have left in other places look nicer.

I realize that this concept of “breast” development is a rather sensitive issue.
The [male] breast has all the proponents of the female breast with the exception of “milk buds” that extend down into the capillaries that when stimulated, provide “mother’s milk” thru the feeding nipple.
This in a [female] can be induced through the use of an appropriate compound that stimulates and acts like the natural process. It can be found in several natural plants and has been used by woman that provided “nursing services” to woman that were “dry” in the pre-1900’s. The term “wet nurse” was often used for this description.
Okay. So, can a biological male by definition really grow full breasts as a woman. YES and NO. If the [male] is on hormones starting around age 10 and continues with them their lifetime, they will, according to their DNA, develop as if they had been born [female]. That is, the results are typically proportional to say a twin sister. When there have been such male and female twins and the male ops for hormone treatment, they develop in a similar manner as the sister does.
If, a [male] waits until after puberty to begin hormones, then the likelihood to develop the same breast size and fullness is reduced dramatically. It really is all very understandable for those that study “human anatomy and biology” in-depth. So, when a male such as I at age 58 starts to notice breast development and not on hormones, in reality it is the loss of muscle tissue that causes this slight droopy, puffy looking development.
I am a realist girls. No need to soft-soap the concept. I have seen dozens of photos of “late bloomers” using hormones and they get this pooch looking breast but there is no real fatty cell collection that makes the breast round and plump. It is more like a bag of jell-o. Sorry, for lack of a better description.
Without hormones and without stimulation of the biological process, the next best thing is implants. I know, I hear everyone screaming about the silicon debate but, you can get water-gel implants and they simulate a very nice looking breast form. BUT, when you have them, you have them girl-friend.
I remember 3 years ago seeing a man on an earth mover. As he stepped down off the machine, I was amazed at his pectoral development. Men in the area remarked he should get “a bra for those things.” I believe that he was affected by taking steroids as he was rather muscular and appeared to be into body building, no, not booby building, I said, “body building.”
I was rather jealous to say the least. I had a great bra for those girls! But it was unusual I am told to be that severe in development and steroids are so very dangerous! Even more so than female hormones in some respects.
If you have the money, you could go for the very polite modern implant that might just give you what it is that you want or need. Yes, on the other hand, after they are in, you have to contend with them all the time. I have found that I can use an external silicon product in an 38-A cup bra that is lined so it fits inside (no chance of falling out etc and no perspiration build up like when it is in direct contact with the skin). I wear it everyday. I also have opted to wear a woman’s white summer sleeveless ribbed tank top with wide straps over that then my white broadcloth business shirt. It is there but because I am small boned, it blends in and no one notices.
Of course, that is why woman’s clothing has the “darts” under the arm, so the fabric pulls tighter to reveal the outline of the breast even if it is only an “A cup.” So depending on what your objective is, the appropriate display can be made to enhance or shadow the breast forms.
Human anatomical engineering I call it. On a small scale with small changes. It works for me! Body weight loss is going to be according to your physiology. You will lose fat as your body burns it from just about anywhere on the body. Specific exercises with the bow-flex machine etc can help build muscle this is true. But, you really want tissue and fat collection in the breast area and that is only stimulated with hormones and on a very small scale after puberty ends or around age 25. After that, well, it is more myth and nonsense from those that want to sell you the idea along with expensive potions that really only make you take on water.
Believe me, if it was that simple, the compounds would be in the “black market.” The stuff that is there is nonsense 99% of the time. They play on our sensitivity and desire to make an inexpensive change in comparison to surgical costs. Desperate people live desperate lives and do desperate things and there is always someone out there more than happy to help you part with your hard earned money.
