I just wanted to let every one know of this great new thing that I was recentaly introduced to by of all people my mom (aren't mom's great)
Well the one she showed me is called the Dead sea .....(I forgot the last part)
What it is square long emery board with 3 sides of different purposes of and instructions and the forth. you use it on the top of your nails and when I got done my finger nails where smooth and shiny. Now I went to the mall (where she found it) but instead found anouther type that is simulare that includes your reguare emery board for the tips of the nail. It came in two types one you can fold so that it easy stashes in your purse and the otheris a reguare long one. I plan on picking up both the next time I got there. I found these and the check out stan at my local Nordstroms Rack store but I am sure you can maybe find them at other places as well. I just want to say that they make your fingers shine and are great for preping them for nail polish it need be.

Just be careful of those middle of the mall kiosks where they grab you and do a quick demo on one finger. They did a beautiful job on a single finger buffing down the ridges. I found out over the next few weeks, however, that all it did was wear the nail down smooth to the thinnest part and the nail was very brittle and shredded easily until it had grown out past where the work was done. It was very shiny and smooth but I can get that with a seventy-nine cent bottle of clear polish too.

I have been using several different Sally Hanson products and yes I know there are others out there. The one big thing is diet and keeping your hands away from places that our nails get bent or broken -- that is the real task!!!!!! I have a hardener and it seems to work as I have caught my nails on various "objects" and have not broken one in quite a while.
Another thing that I have found really tears up my nails is gluing on false nails - I think I am about done with that. I will just keep my mind on what I am doing and try not to break my natural nails.
