Hello

Post by Melody D (SO) »

Hello to everybody,

Well i'm a 23 year old, who found out that my SO like to wear girls clothes a few month back. That did not bother me at all though i think he was a little bit shocked that i was so o.k with the idea .lol I've been with him for 7 years and were getting married next year :) . I just wanted someplace to go were i can talk about it from time to time becuse i can't talk to my friend about it. One other thing i know he like to wear girls clothing mostly just in the bedroom and he does not want to be a girl or act like girl. is there a diffrence between a CD and a TG?

Hello, Melody D, and a huge welcome to the forum!!

CD and TG are basically the same thing, and not all CD's are alike. I believe you meant "TS" which is Transexual, and 95% of CD's do not consider themselves to be TS, so don't be alarmed!!

I know that may be confusing to you right now, and other members of the forum will be better able to explain the differences than I. You can also read through the archives where you will find many posts discussing this in further detail.

For now, just take comfort that you have a wonderful man who likes to express his feminine side and has been open and trusted you with that knowledge! So many CD's are afraid to tell their SO's for fear of being rejected, simply because the SO does not understand - - how sad!! I consider that with my CD I have a built-in girlfriend, someone who can more readily relate to how I think and feel, and I consider that a win-win situation!!

Keep the lines of communication open with your CD - it's a two-way street! - and do invite your CD to join our forum. We look forward to your participation!

Hi Melody -wel- , to the forum.
My DH and I are also planning on getting married next year and like you I have only known for a short while.
Not being able to talk about this with really good friends or family can be horrendous, (I get nervous when I know I am going out drinking with the girls just in case I let something slip, but so far I have been okay--- thats maybe cos we have such great support here )

Hi Melody D,
I big warm welcome to you. I can relate to your situation as mine is like yours only opposite. I have no other cd'ers to talk with face to face and it makes for ruff going sometimes. I have wonderful friends here who have help me many a time with a problem or when I would get down, what is so great you can almost talk about anything and everything and as an SO you ladies have your own place to post and it's off limits to us guys. So make yourself at home and enjoy your new friends, (--)

Melody, Jess, I hope you will stay around and visit and participate. I think you will have a lot of your fears alaid!!! We are mostly nice folks!!! We have what some of us describe as a gift!! No, a lot of us are not knuckle-dragging, beer swilling, womanizing, neandathals!!!! The gift is that a lot of us can relate to the feminine "point of view." We wish only to enhance our feminine "side" if you will. To develop our empathy, understanding, listening, touching, loving ---- all the qualities that a lot of us admire in the "opposite sex" as it were. Some of need to enhance this growth by dawning the clothes that make us feel even more intouch with these feeling and emotions that we have had to keep "bottled up" inside and all we want is the opportunity to express them and for some of us that includes dressing.
I don't know your SO's but I can say this in general, a woman could do a whole lot worse than marrying a crossdresser!"
Good luck, ladies and we are all here to help if we can!
