Let's talk about hair!

Post by Jadhe »

I'm blonde at the moment, but most like I'm going to dye my hair later today. I was thinking about about bright red (I can hear the little punk girl inside me, telling me to try something radical  ), or chestnut brown (the little 'teacher's pet' schoolgirl is telling me to try this). :P

So what about you others, what class do you fall in? And how often do you dye your hair? :)

I thought about making a poll, but I think it's far too complex for a silly blonde like me.
Maybe later today, when I'm not blonde anymore, I'll figure it out. 8)

The last time I dyed my hair I was in highschool and it was before winter break in my sophmore or junior year. I dyed it purple. In my highschool we had Rallies that pitted the classes against each other and each class had a color. Ours was purple. My dad had a fit when he picked me up at the train station. :)

I have never dyed my hair, partly because my parents hate the idea, but mainly I like my natural hair color.

Lets talk length next. How long is your hair?? and How long do you want it??

Dying your hair can be fun. I change my hair colour quite often. Two days ago, my hair was blonde, and now it's dark chestnut red. :)

But my hair lenght, that's hard to describe. It's relatively long but from the back. That doesn't say much, I know. Think about Paine, but like that. :P
And the way I keep it changs very often as well. Sometimes it's all high and spiky, and sometimes it's resting on my in perfect order, making me look like some angel.

Right, if anyone can describe their hair any worse than that, I'm surprised.

My hair hangs about an inch above my shirt (boys) collar in the back. I like having long hair. I am trying to grow it longer.

I don't like to grow my back hair very long, at least not until my front hair is much longer (I can already cover my eyes with my hair if I want to).
So there's really no logic in the way I grow my hair. :P

Hi gals,

Three weeks ago, I dyed my hair a deep, purplish red with copper highlights (I'm ordinarily a dark-brown-haired type). I did it, ostensibly, for the staff Christmas party, but I don't think that fooled anyone, as I've dyed my hair before (usually "midnight plum"--a very, very black shade with purple highlights, under a strong light).

Up until about four years ago, when I first started working at my current job, I had a pony tail down to the middle of my back. I'd had it for about ten years. It was fun. For a crossdresser, it was a major bonus (wigs ain't cheap!). However, over the last few years, my hair's started to thin out on top, making me look a bit like an ageing hippie unwilling to let go of the remnants of her wild and carefree youth. I, reluctantly, got rid of the tail. I miss feeling the wind blow through my mane. Now, I keep my hair short (most of my clients, I think, feel more comfortable with this slightly more clean-cut look).

Love,
CJ

Poor little CJ, you had to cut your hair.

One good thing about being young, is that you don't have to worry about your hair.

As for length of my hair. It lands in the middle of my back maybe a little lower when I do not have it in a pony tale. Being that I am almost 6 FT tall that makes it really long. I do not intend on cutting it other then a trim to get rid of split ends.

That woman looks like she's from some scifi movie...

Some might like bald people, but I prefer hair over baldness. There are so many things you can do with hair, but when you're bald...you're bald. :P

Well I guess that you could dye your head different colours :P

I like hair over baldness as well (Both Women and Men).
