a cop out on manhood

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

a cop out on manhood

Post by Penni SO »

Hi ya everyone in this chaotic world,

I have been organising some articles for the Chameleons Library, when I came across a very small article written by a disgruntled spouse.

It read "my husband wears womens clothes, because he is a failure as a man."

I know keep your knickers on,your mad,I don't agree, but I thought this topic could get the blood boiling,or some of you may agree, who know's.

Well whats your defence ladies?????

I loves ya

Some men wear women's clothes because they are trans, some because they find it kinky, some for various other reasons. That doesn't make them a failure as a man.

Some do so because they are submissive and maybe their partners make them dress as women. That doesn't make them a failure as a man. There's no requirement that all men be the dominant partner or the breadwinner.

I can fight, hunt, fish, don lipstick with the best of them :P

You go, Donna!!

Let's turn this comment around.....
What would be the definition of "a real man"?

I imagine there would be quite a few things on that list depending on each person's view. And, assuming they would all be correct.... I can also imagine there would not be very many "real men" in the world.

Sounds to me like she was upset to know her spouse wears womens clothes and is subscribing to the narrow minded societies views.

Clothes are just something we wear, and we all should have the choice of wearing what we like. As for the person.....

Clothes will never make you anyone other than who you are.

What is the definition of a real man? I feel that the real definition is a male the has a heart and mind that co-exist insync. In other words, a true man is a person that can be the rough, tough guy needed when the occasion calls for it, but yet have the softness to understand the thoughts and feelings of the woman in his life. He may wear a dress. A bra and pair of panties. Put makeup on, paint his nails, but get on the wrong side of him, and be prepared to explain you actions. Yes I am a man, and yes I wear a dress!

CJ, honey, as always right to the heart of the matter!!! =D> =D> =D>
One of our sisters was being heckled at an I-HOP one night, so as she and her friends were leaving, she stopped at the table of the "heckler" and his friends and was proported to have said something to the effect and right in his face. "I'm more man than you will ever be and more woman than you could ever handle!!!" Rumor is that she got a standing ovation!!!
Men, what are men! they can not get or be emotional?!
they can not ask for directions? (well that is what I heard!)
they are suppose to make more money than women?
they are suppose to "control" their urges!?
ah, but a few!
I have said it before and I will say it again, a woman, looking for a man could do a hellofva lot worse than choosing a crossdresser!

Hiya Girls

I love being Christie, I love makeup and hairdos and lots of soft frilly clothes but that doesn't ever threaten my manhood at all (4 kids BTW!!)

I just prefer looking good and feeling good and crossdressing for me is totally non-sexual..I'm never aroused when I dress and manhood issues never come into the equation. Perhaps some mis-informed SO's may interpret dressing as a homosexual activity and thus feel that their spouse now prefers men, which is usually furthest from the truth.

I'll just be real sarcastic and say that we crossdress because they have failed to be the woman we needed them to be and so we must be both male and female.

I don't believe it for a second but I have succeeded in sinking to this persons level I think.

Well, I'm going to give a complicated answer, something I've been thinking about lately. I've always dressed a little, and sometimes a lot. One of the biggest "plunges" that I made into dressing came when my girlfriend decided she wanted to see other guys...[edited].

Now, we were doing field work at the time, and had separate trailers at a remote site, but not much was private there. So the night she took him to her bed, I definitely knew it. And what did I do? I slipped on a bra and panties (hers) [edited]. Now, before you get our your psych textbooks, I'll tell you the rest....

After than night, I really plunged into dressing, especially in lingerie, and relished in feeling sissy and femme. I'd done it before, but this time was very strong (or I should say, weak). Chrissie flowered. She flowered so much that she came out to her gf [edited].

At first, she was kinda freaked out, especially since it was her lingerie (all that was available to me in the camp). Then she started spending more and more time in my trailer, and then she brought me some of her nicest lingerie. She discovered that she liked who I was much more--kind, gentle, relaxed. We made love in a new way, and it was awesome. She grew tired of [edited] the other guy, and spent all her time in the 'sissy' trailer. She was happier than I'd ever seen her, and sex was---fantastic!

So I ask...which was the REAL man? #-o
The guy she once knew....
The guy who [edited] her?
Or the guy in the lingerie?

Chrissie -

There are a lot better ways to express yourself than by using crude, sexually explicit language, especially here in the open forum where EVERYONE can read it, including minors. Furthermore, one of the main rules of this Forum - which you have blatantly violated - is no foul language. [-X [-X [-X

I strongly suggest that you either edit your post of the foul language or delete it in its entirety. Otherwise, I am sure that the Mod(s) for this section will do so on your behalf.

Enough said.

Hi all,

Chrissie,

SilverLady is right. There's not much room, in this section of the forum, for vulgarity. We have minors on the forum as well as SO's new to the world of CD'ing and TG'ism and we try to keep them in mind when publicly disccusing things of a sexual nature. I've edited your post to reflect that policy.

Sexuality can be discussed (tastefully, still) in the private area of the forum. You may request access to that area (including "Hot Topics" and "Transgender Issues") once you've been a member here for at least a month.

Regardless, you are welcome aboard, Chrissie. But please take another look at the forum rules.
