Post by Carol Ann »

Well let me tell you old man winter has arrived in the beautiful Ozarks, rain, ice and 10" of snow. Humm time to put another log on the fire :P and another blanket on the bed and sleep until spring. So what is the weather like where you live?

It's gone from 71 to 69 in the last 5 hours. Haven't been outside, but I'm sure it's windy.

Supposed to be in the 50's and quite windy tomorrow with a good bit of rain.

Saturday is supposed to be cool and clear.

My MIL said they got hit with freezing rain in Waco TX.

Hi Ladies
It's been unseasonably warm here in Connecticut. 50s and 60s but it's supposed to change this wekend with rain and high winds and get down into the low thirties by monday. I won't see it though.
You throw another log on the fire Carol Ann and relax all weekend while I run 25,000 11 x17, 2 color 4 up scartch pads, cut them, pad them in 50s,shrink wrap in 500's have them ready for monday morning!
Oh! Did I mention the 50,000 3x5, 8 up gift enclosures printed two sides and scored and banded in 250's for tuesday? I'll save the press washes for you Hon. Hugs

We here in Vermont set a new record for the least amount of snowfall in the month of November...1/2 nch. WOW!! The weather is a changng though. It is now raining and in the low 40s with flurries on the way. I will be hibernating myself. They can have it in Texas. I was in Arlngton, TX for 12 years and when we had freezing rain I stayed in and watched the rednecks with their 4x4 trucks....they think they can still go 50 and stop on a dime!

Hey Lisa. That's true. If you're in a Southern state that rarely gets snow or freezing temperatures all you have to do is go out on your front porch, get a drink, sit down and relax and watch the demolition derby. They just crash into each other. It's hilarious. Hugs.

PS. It's just as bad in Maine Lisa. My sister Christine lives in Saint Albans (Like Vermont) and every year some knuckleheads drive their four wheel drive pickups out on the ice and sink into the lake! Stupidity has no boundries!

Thanks Hon,

That is exactly what I did when I first moved to Texas. We had an Apt within view of the interstate. These knuckleheads would eit the on ramp and vice versa/ It became a bet with my ex...for beer or a shot of course. We have the idiots here also that go through the ice. Duh it is getting warmer...walk out there you lazy backside!!

Have a great one!

Lisa

Ps. (aren't you infamous for these) We are getting hit tonight with this damn weather. Why oh why did I move back? The reason ha to meet and marry Elayne.

Life is a carnival. Enjoy the ride! I remember a few years ago reading a story in the newspaper. Some man in Chicago had a frozen gas line in his car. He siphoned off some gas and put it in a pan on the gas stove to warm it up. Of course when he lit the burner it blew up. I laughed for a week! Hugs.

Jeannie,

That's definitely one for the Darwin Award.
