Happy new year!

Post by Kendra Lynn »

Best wishes to everyone for the new year!
The life of a music journalist is never done...
Right now I'm listening to CD's from a box set focusing on "Mid winter" folklore and customs. A real nice sampler of stuff, lots of English folk and folk-rock, some American folk, even a little blues and gospel.
But since I can listen to and write about music in the privacy of my own apartment-- I am... shall we say.. "dressed" for the occasion...
And so we have: long-ish dirty red-ish tinted wig, soft white cardigan sweater over light yellow peter pan collar button front blouse, light colored knee length denim skirt, belt, off white socks folded over at the tops, brown chunky "mary janes."
peace sign pendant. glasses. Foundation over the mustache area, lipstick. dangly hoop earrings. Not the full make-up job and no tights. No photos will be taken today-- not going out.
It's the old "preppy" with a hippie accent look.
Well, what can I say, that seems to work the best and I like it.
Peace-- Kendra Lynn.

P.S.: One of these days I'll post photos up here. But I'll need an assistant for the first few attempts.

Hi all,

Thanks, SilverLady. 8)

No, I know my way around photo uploading. Something else is going on. Not sure what. My photos rarely exceed 50k and I'm pretty sure I'm nowhere near my allowed upload limit.

Maybe Sharon'll look into it, at some point.

Love,
CJ

Lisa and CJ, my sisters - you both look great!!!!
CJ, I am glad you feel relatively safe going out at 4:00 in the morning! I would think that the only thought on the minds of the two guys in the convenience store was how they could "jump your bones!"
Lisa, I like the new hair, too! Maybe you can come to Richmond as a blond.
We are tentatively planning on going to Babe's for dinner around 7:00ish - 3166 West Cary Street (they have their own website, but a lot of it is under construction) www.babesofcarytown.com. Then back to the hotel, primp a bit more, then Z-2's for the pre-Fielden's gathering, then on to Fieldens' around midnight when they open! Get some sleep it's Party Time!!!!
Love you all,
Virginia
First star to the right, then straight on 'till mornin!

Nice pictures ladies.

Well it's finally cold here in the Northeast. I haven't dressed much lately but I had a morning alone and wore leggings, thermal socks with winter sandals for indoors, a pile skirt, black top and wool poncho over the whole thing. Very cozy and nice to be dressed up again.

Getting ready for big peace march

Post by Kendra Lynn »

Hello all: I will be with the "arts block" on Saturday at the big peace march in Washington, D.C.
There will be stilters, puppets, percussionists, and at least one cheerleader!
But since the weather could be on the chilly side, the usual short skirt cheer outfit is out.
So I've been working on other possible ensembles.
Right now I'm wearing: long dark auburn wig, white hair band, navy blue long sleeve crew neck cheerleader sweater with a big P and white stripes on the sleeves. White turtleneck underneath the sweater, peace sign w/American flag button to the left of the "P." Women's "at waist" jeans with a slight flair at the bottom. White running shoes with shinly detailing. Kind of an "alternative" cheerleader look, but just right for the occasion.
The other possibility is: everything the same, except instead of the sweater, I'd have the same long sleeve white turtleneck, but with a white sleeve less shell over it. On the shell is a big peace sign.
At the march, I'll have a white hooded puff jacket, gloves, and of course, pompons!
Peace-- Kendra Lynn

Totally Stealth Again (almost)

Today I'm at work dressed in all femme garments except for my shoes. From the inside out:

Jockey Elance french-cut panties in an aqua retro stripe pattern

JMS vee-neck tee

Calvin Klein opaque tights in black

Land's End blouse in wild rose tattersall pattern

Men's oxfords on my big feet.

So far my wife and a female co-worker have complemented me on how nice I look.

Imma is dressed in nude pantyhose, two Rago 9357 all in ones, Playtex 18 Hour 2670 HWOBG, one pair of brown beige garter stockings, 24 garter grips, red Vasserette panties, Rago panty brief, long leg panties, long line bra with inserts, pink slip, black leather belt, red Muumuu, wide outer brown leather belt, black patent sandals, bangles, bracelets, beads, women’s watch, black hoop earrings, and short black wig.

Imma uses and kitchen timer to sit for one hour at computer. =D>

Just like flying on a long flight. Get up and move around every hour! :P

Imma has about ten hours to go to make eighteen hours. What is your record?

just back from Baltimore!

Post by Kendra Lynn »

Hello all: Just got back from a CD trip to Baltimore. A friend and I went to a restaurant in Baltimore where a journalist was interviewing cross dressers for an article to run in the Baltimore CITY PAPER.
So... I'm still wearing the outfit-- strawberry blonde/ dirty blonde long-ish wig, black zipper front sweater/vest over red turtleneck, peace sign pendant, black box pleat skirt-- a little above the knee, beige tights, black boots with buckle. Clear square-ish glass frames.
I too have ordered clothes from Bedford Fair/Willow Ridge. Their sizing can be confusing-- depending on the style and fabric-- I can be anything from a petite XL to a women's 20 in their stuff. The fail safe sizes would be misses XL or misses 20, but on some items, that can be too big (skirt lengths too long, for instance). But the BF/WR items that do fit and look right are fantastic!
Do many of you order from 1-800 numbers and web sites?
Do you have any favorites?
Have any of you ever told an order taker at a 1-800 number who the clothes were for? Received any interesting responses?
Best wishes for 2007 to one and all!
Peace-- Kendra Lynn

The dresses do fit!

Post by Kendra Lynn »

Hello again: I'm sitting in front of the computer reading and sending e-mail, and doing a little web surfing.
In my own apartment I can "dress" in total privacy , so I decided to re-try on a few dresses that didn't seem to look right first time around.
I'm glad I kept them-- they may not be the best I've got, but they're certainly better than just ok.
Right now, I'm wearing: blonde-ish wig, clear square-ish rimless glasses, hoop earrings, short sleeve dress made from t shirt type material-- light blue with flowers that look like a cross between a pen and ink drawing and water colors, "self belt. " A little foundation over the moustache area, lipstick.
Brown chunky "mary janes." Light beige (or pink??-- can't really label this color) cardigan over all. The dress is longer than I usually prefer, but it 's comfortable and looks cute with the pastel sweater.
Peace'n'Luv-- Kendra Lynn.

I am sitting here at work with panties, pantyhose, bra, and cami on. I also have foundation, powder, and lipstick on. The foundation and powder blend into my face so well that you really can not see it. The lipstick is flesh colored so again no one notices. Along with my painted toes and my long acrylic nails, I really feel fem today.

Hopefully photographs came through on this posting. If not, click on above links to see my exposed stockings, garter grips, and knee boots! :P

If it did, then you cane see that Imma has gartered up nylon stockings to multiple "church girdles" for a day of office work.

On my feet are a pair of black patent knee boots with five inche heels. These are real CFM high heels.

Imma will try to set a new record today and be girdled up and dressed up for eighteen hours. =D>

Wish me luck. 8)

HIPPIE PREPPIE

Post by Kendra Lynn »

Hello all: It's late here on the east coast, but I just got back to the apartment from my Saturday night thru early Sunday morning adventure and am still wearing the outfit!
I went to the Transgender Education meeting and after that dropped in to McGinty's to catch a set by roots rock band BIG SKY.
There was no time to change into drab, so I went to the pub wearing the outfit I put on for the TGEA meeting. HAD A GREAT TIME-- several of the band members had seen me at other events as the "hippie cheerleader," but it's stiill great that they accepted me in non costume femme attire.
Which is: blonde wig (below shoulders, pink tinted glasses, hoop earrings, black sweater vest over red turtleneck, peace sign pendant, knee length red/black/yellow plaid pleated skirt, black tights, shiny black boots with buckles. Hippie/preppie blend with a little flash! (the boots!!)
Peace-- Kendra Lynn.
