Well, let's see, we wanted to leave here for the drive by 10:00 - well, 11:30 is close enough! Two girls just heading down the interstate. Seems that with SL driving, every tractor trailer we passed she just had to go past them slowly, well, I apologize to any truckers that were distracted. Yes, my skirt was a bit, uh, short?! Anyway we had fun on the drive and we noticed no wrecks behind us so I guess we just gave them some nice day dreams! We went into the Goodwill store and shopped for about an hour. I got a pair of CK 2 1/2" slides and I found a pair of brown ankle length boots - both pair seemed brand new. Then a nice black peasant blouse still had the tags in it $58.00 - I got it for $4.00. A nice mint green sweater, high waisted. My best was a long sleeve, light purple, see through ?cover? up. Like a duster but comes down about mid-thigh and it is gorgeous! No real finds this time, but it was fun. SL found a few things but not like last time.
We checked in and re-dressed for dinner, our plans were to go to Babe's, the neighborhood Lesbian bar/restaurant, but we saw a Thai restaurant that looked nice, so we decided to go there. I wore a Doncaster mid-calf length, black turtle-neck pull-over dress with a wide gold belt and black pumps and a gold necklace that fell mid-breast with a black and gold cross. Subdued, yet feminine. There were maybe 15 people in the place and we got no unusual looks other than what you would expect when you first walk into any place like that. There were three ladies at one table who were just having a ball, laughing and enjoying themselves. Once in a while they would look at me and smile. My only "mistake" was the girl waiting on us came to the table to ask if we cared for anything else and I said, evidently in a voice that did not fit the lady she saw, "No, it was delicious, just bring the check, please!" She went immediately to the "manager/cashier?" and she immediately "checked me out" very closely then she brought the check to us, not the waitress and she really looked me over, almost in my face, I just smiled and she smiled and we got up paid and as we were leaving she said. "You ladies come back and see us!"
Back to the hotel and change - yet again! I love it! I wore a knee length black skirt with a few fuscia flowers around the hem and I had found a mock-turtle neck sweater that was the identical color as the flowers, that and a small broach with the same colors in it on a gold chain that again fell mid-breast, this girl looked nice - put together, if you will. We missed Z-2's as it was about 11:50 when we got to Fielden's . Donna arrived shortly after we got there and we all went in together. It was so nice to see old friends!!!! One of the girls has gotten divorced recently and is going ahead with "the big ONE!" She said her "ex" promised to stay with her through the transistion to help her recover, but then she would be gone. One of the other girls has an SO who gave her a beautiful ring and as she pointed out,"I am now off the market!" My friend Jean from Lynchbug was there with Cathy (who just recently had "the" surgery) and did she look great. That glow she had almost brought me to tears to see her as the woman she was meant to be!!!!! It was beautiful, almost like my friend Brandi, to see the transition and the transformation and the comfort they have once they are who they were meant to be!!!!
As for the pool, well yes, I admit I was making up the rules as we went along - only way I had any chance to win against those two pool-sharks! It was fun and all the girls seem to fall all over themselves to make SL feel welcomed and just "one of the girls!" They were all so sweet to her and I know she enjoyed meeting them. There were probably 15 -20 there, actually a smaller group but with the "Ms. Fielden's" beauty pagent coming up on the 20th some of the girls said they called and said they would be there for that. We may go back for that, but it is a wait and see.
I hope you all can get involved with a group - with the girls at Fielden's it is just a wonderful, warm, friendly welcoming group and you can feel so at ease and just BE! Oh, what Donna said about the weather - unbelieveable it was like mid-night on the 5th of January in Richmond, Va an the temperature was nearly 60 degrees!!!!
Saturday, SL and I got up, dressed and headed out about 1:00pm (late check-out) Well we did not get to bed until about 4:00 am.
Our trip home we decided to take the Blue Ridge Parkway! Even without any leaves on the trees it was a beautiful three hour drive. Just two girls enjoying each other, talking, seeing the beautiful vistas and living life. We did come upon three sport cars out for an afternoon drive - awesome!
A 427 Cobra, a Ferrari and a Lambhorgini - I can assure you that they were exceeding the 45 MPH posted speed limit on the Parkway, but what beautiful cars!!!! and the sounds wow!!!!
Over all it was a beautiful weekend! SL may have some comments too. I was a bit concerned how she would handle going to Fielden's as she has never been to a place like that, but she said she felt right at home and all the girls were so nice, kinda like being with you all on the forum, but in person!!!!!
We may go out to a movie tonight too - we will see!
We both had a great time,
Party on ladies!
Love you all,
Virginia

Oh, I left out one of the more interesting things. As the three of us were leaving the club and were at the parking lot, now this is like 3:30 am and some girl comes up to us and says, "hey, the guy flashing his headlights thinks you girls look great!" Well we go to our respective cars, and then this guy pulls up beside us, on my side, SL was driving (she needs to learn what a median is for too - they are NOT tests for off-road four wheel drive vehicles! but that's another story. )
Anyway, this guy pulls up right next to me and motions for me to roll down my window, I did NOT! Acutally he was not a bad looking guy, mid-30"s. Just a smile and a wave and SL backed out and we left. No offense, but the car had New Jersey plates.
Raises a lot of questions: First he had to know what kind of club Fielden's was! Who was the girl that told us he wanted to "talk" to us? She just seemed to disappear.
What did he want? Was he just an admirer? Was he gay? Perhaps a serial rapist or serial killer? or just a nice guy looking for some female company?
It was 3:30am in a parking lot of a hardware store, across the street from a private "cosmopolitan club" in downtown Richmond, Virginia, in a car with New Jersey plates???
I would have hated to have to have separated him from various parts of his body had he not been the gentleman that I hope he was
You ladies be careful out there!
Love,
Virginia

Hmmm, what can I say that Virginia and Donna haven't already said? Oh, yeah!! I had an absolutely *fantastic* time and I'm looking forward to going back and seeing all the girls again!! :)

Well, I had changed my outfits several times during the day/night, just like Virginia. I started off wearing an angora/cashmere sweater and skirt with modest 3" pumps for the drive to Richmond and shopping at Goodwill. While there, I bought a denim sleeveless button-front dress, which can be worn as a dress or as a duster over jeans and a blouse.

We checked into the hotel, changed our clothes, and we decided to eat at a Thai restaurant instead of going to Babe's. I chose to wear a Donncaster navy blue wool jumpsuit with a sleeveless burgundy 'duster' and black open-toe pumps with a 4" heel. The restaurant, called Thai Diner, was in a strip mall and the food was excellent. Next time, I'll order the medium spicy instead of the mild. Yes, Virginia did get read but only at the end of the meal when she asked the waitress for the check in a more manly manner. #-o Even still, no one treated her (or myself) with any less respect than a lady deserved to be treated. We'll probably go to that restaurant again when we're next in town!

Back to the hotel we go, where we changed clothes yet again for Z2's and/or Fielden's. I wore my new black leather jumper-style dress with a cream colored mock turtle neck body suit and my black skin-tight knee-high leather boots with a 3.5" heel, over which I wore my long black leather coat. I guess all that I needed to complete the look of a Dominatrix was a leather riding crop, but I'm not so I don't have one! <|>|<|> {Okay, SW, here's your opening for a comment or two!!} :P

Given the time was 11:30p when we left the hotel, we decided not to go to Z2's. While we were sitting in the parking lot, waiting for Fielden's to open, Virginia and I were busy talking and just people-watching. We saw Donna enter the parking lot, so we got out and waited for her to join us, and we went into Fielden's together. I had an absolutely wonderful time at Fielden's, even though Virginia kept changing the rules of the three-way pool game (I think she learned that from page 15 of Jeannie's Rule Book!) [-X , and everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and accepted. I felt very comfortable there, and 'at home' with the girls! I was glad to have met several of the ladies that Virginia had been telling me about, and they were as sweet as she had described them to me. One of the girls at Fielden's (I don't know her name  , but she wore a top with fishnet sleeves and also wore fishnet hose) made a point of coming over to me from the other side of the room and complimenting me on my outfit, saying that I looked "really fantastic" - well, what's a girl to say other than "Thank you!"!!

We left Fielden's about 3:30am, and like Virginia said there was a guy waiting in the parking lot that would have liked to 'pick us up' but there was no way we would ever have been interested!! We drove to the hotel and waited for Donna, made tentative plans for breakfast/brunch later in the morning, hugged, and parted ways. We didn't get to bed until 4:00a, and yes, our room was as hot and stuffy as Donna's so we didn't sleep too well. I had already extended our checkout to 2p 'just in case' we stayed at Fielden's longer than we did, but we woke up about 10:30a and checked out at 1p.

I let Virginia drive my Jeep 4x4 home, as we wanted to take the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. A quick stop at a gas station and McDonald's for "fuel" and we were on our way! The drive was beautiful, and when we reached the Peaks of Otter we saw about 20 or more deer just feeding alongside the road, paying no attention to the cars that stopped to watch them. What a beautiful sight!

As for my needing to learn what a median is for - hey, VA is the only "state" that doesn't mark the medians in yellow paint on the side of them as well as on the pavement itself, which makes them sooooooo much easier to see! Besides, how else was I to test my off-road four wheel drive Jeep?!? Certainly not 'off-road'!! That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!! [-(

Right now, we're strongly considering going back to Fielden's on the 20th for their Miss Fielden's 2007 Pageant - another new experience for me. If we do go, we'll let everyone know in case anyone else would like to join us in Richmond.

We finished off the weekend by staying home today, enjoying our time alone together, and getting things done around the house. Virginia was such a sweetheart, not only did she cook breakfast today, but she also cooked a wonderful dinner tonight, complete with candlelights and wine. @@9@@

Love you all!

You are brave Virginia!

Hi ladies
At least I always had enough sense to not make any cracks about Mini's driving habits! You'll pay for that one! As for that truck with the New Jersey plates. That was me!
I've been working in my crime lab all night going over evidence and running DNA tests from the breakin on friday. Inspector Jeannie,CSI Waterbury! I ruled you out Virginia because I walked in on the perp. He was quite a few shades darker than you Hon. I have to call Lorna and see what she was doing on friday at 1pm.
I just ran my first DNA test but I think I made an error. It came up as OJs. Back to my bunson burner! Hugs

I am sure glad that I was eliminated in your search, and on the serious side and am so happy you were not hurt!!! That can be a very scary thing to have happen. I was "doing my thing" a couple of years ago, working on a house that I had bought to "flip" and I heard some "interesting noises" at the front door. I sneaked out the back with my trusty 5' long lead pipe and these two "idiots" were on the front porch in broad daylight trying to jimmy the lock. I had already had a very heavy iron claw foot bath tub stolen off the back porch as well as a virtually brand new recipocating saw. Anyway I was standing right behind them before they even knew I was there. (All that martial arts training paid off!) They knew they were in deep do do and tried to run past me! One caught the lead pipe across the shins and took a nose dive down four steps and the other caught the other end on his rib cage and tumbled over the railing and all I could think to say was "........and stay out!" They hobbled off. I saw the one guy on the street about a week later on crutches with his leg in a cast!
Guess I was lucky too!
Stay fluffy, honey and please be careful.
Love ya,
Virginia

Hi Virginia.
Bootsey came over and said"Was it a neighborhood guy? let me know." I said "Boots. I wish it was your place and you walked in on him! He would of turned white!"
I'm just fine. We've had numerous breakins in the shop and the house in the last ten years. We have an alarm but that means crap. The cops take about an hour to respond to an alarm and the perps know that.
The first breakin you get scared and feel violated. The second you get mad. The third you get really pissed! The fourth you say "You MFer! Get the F out of here!"
I'm afraid to get a permit to carry a handgun. It would be a 45 government issue like I fired in the Coast Guard thirty five years ago. Great hand gun. Not very accurate but at close range no matter where you hit them, they're down for the count. I know if I walk in on a burglary(This makes two!) I'd say "Prepare to meet your maker! You're a dead man walkin!" Then I'd get sued for violating his civil rights! LOL!
Hugs

:P Loved hearing that one. I can certainly relate! :P

Glad everyone had a good time. Virginia, sweetie, the way to handle "poolsharks" is with ATTITUDE! If that doesn't work...Cheat!
