not quite cding but the feeling was there

Post by Absaroka »

I haven't gone to the gym in a couple of weeks becauser of various aches and pains. I started again a couple days ago, taking it very easy, and a lot of the aches and pains decreased dramatically.

Yesterday I went and as I put on the gym clothes I sat in the locker room reveling in the lack of pain and anticipation of the next half hour or so. I have to say that just sitting there with my old friends: gym shorts and tee shirt. They felt luxurious and sensual just in anticipation. Suddenly a thought flashed on me and I had a vision of a woman taking a long hot bubble bath, then slowly drying herself off, putting on perfume and putting on a sexy nightie, enjoying the feel of her body and the clothes and how nice everything felt as she planned a pleasant relaxing evening. And I thought how hilarious it was that I was sitting in a locker room in smelly gym clothes with a bunch of other men feeling the same way. Not a connection I would have made a couple of years ago.....

I didn't share this thought with any of the other guys in the locker room but when I came home I did tell my family about this at dinner and they howled with laughter. But it made me think again how so much of what I get from CDing can be found in so many other places once I recognize it.

Well, did your vision come true? Are you getting female intuition?

No vision coming true but the moment in itself was enough.

I don't think it's a female thing. Men can have fun too...............Hmm, maybe a song about Men Just Want To Have Fun with getting in touch with their sensual side.

I agree, it doesn't necessarily have to be a "girl only" thing. It's just that guys don't usually express their sensual side. (Heteros anyway) Especially in the locker room! [-X

Heaven forbid!

Absaroka, we might want to keep this our little secret. I mean if macho guys started showing more of the feminine traits they have...

Lets just redefine it as a macho masculine sensuality.....

 Definitely safer that way! By the way, that was a brave topic to bring up at family dinner!

I'm glad something worked on your aches and pains, by the way.

Absaroka, great for you getting back to the gym.

I can very much so relate to your feeling feminine, yet being all male dress and environment. When the my CDing hit the fan with my wife I took a long look at who I was. I looked back in my past and my CDing and I really did not do a lot of CDing when I was younger, maybe a few times a year at the most. But what I did begin to realize that I often did "Feminine" or "Female" things without really thinking about it. It was just who I was. And also while I have been dressed enfemme I have done male things and felt masculine. What I have come to realize is that while I am a guy and do not want to change that, I have both masculine and feminine feelings, and I like to do masculine and feminine things. Sometimes my feelings follow my attire, other times they are the opposite. But most of the time I am just a mix of both.

We are who we are. Just be who you are and live your life the best you can.

I guess what I am getting to is that for me, that feeling of luxuriating in sensuality, of clothing, surroundings, action, is not neccesarily feminine. We of course equate feeling like that about lingerie and a bubble bath as feminine. But the same feelings can be brought about by other things and they are perhaps neither masculine or feminine.
