Femme glasses

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Femme glasses

Post by Steffie »

Hi girls,

Yesterday I went for eye exam. I got two extra prescriptions (three total). Not only did I get contacts and male glasses but I'm going to go get some femme glasses this time too. My wife's going to help me pick out some femme frames at a place farther away from our home later this week. The male frames we'll get at our local vision center though. When the doctor asked why I wanted the extra prescription I said it was for an extra pair of glasses (meaning male).

Steffie,

I hope you and your wife find a nice pair of femme frames.

The last time I got new glasses I went with one pair that looked appropriate for either a male or female to wear, but I don't go out and about like you do.

We will be looking forward to pictures of tou in your new femme glasses after you get them.

My new femme glasses

Post by Steffie »

Hi girls,

Well I picked out some femme glasses. I had chosen a lavender color but the lady there said it was too short for me so I the found a pretty light pink color. I got male glasses too and just nonchalantly said these pink ones were back-up glasses. She then said most glasses nowadays are unisex style. She measured me and the order was submitted. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I can pick them up and try them out! :)

Oh and by the way, while we were there we stopped in a Victoria Secret and I got a nice bra (36D). My breast forms are a C cup but with my chest, the overall size becomes D. It was a push-up bra too and I love it! :)

That's really awsome. I thought about getting femme glasses, but I don't think that my dad will buy them for me. He's really weird about me buying girl jeans at Wal-Mart.

Heck I never had a problem, I went to Lens Craphers with the Rx and gave them 2 frames, one fem and one male. I used a pair of my wifes old frames.
Look they may talk about you when you leave but it's your money. Hehe I had a women who re fitted my wife old frames to my face and she didn't even break a smile. MONEY TALKS

I couldn't quite figure why you need three prescriptions Steffie.

Here we get one card with our new prescription on it and you just copy it to as many opticians as you want.

I have had femme frames since back in the 80's, it makes a big difference about how you feel in public especially.

Nowadays I try to get frames that are neutral or unisex, but a lot of girls like to make a fashion statement, dont they?

Glasses

Post by Kendra Lynn »

Hello all: I decided a few years ago that it would be a really good idea to have PRESCRIPTION femme glasses.
As a CD'er who walks a lot (I do not drive) and rides public transit, it's a good safety measure.
I had costume glasses before, but of course those lenses were useless.
I've done this two ways: I've had costume glasses re-fitted with prescription lenses and bought totally new femme glasses (frames and lenses). The branch of MY EYE DOCTOR near me has seen me "en femme" and so far has had no problems with that. They've even been willing to take photos of me!
Have a great holiday weekend!
Peace'n'Luv-- Kendra Lynn.

They finally arrived!

Post by Steffie »

Hi girls,

My new femme glasses finally arrived. If I weren't so busy as male (and tired), I would love to dress as Steffie now in the middle of the week and try them and post a pic to see how they look but I'll probably have to wait until later this week.:( Oh well.

By the way, they are a pinkish color. I wonder if the optician bought my story about being backup glasses?:D Nowadays though, most glasses are unisex; so maybe he did.
