Which dress to wear?

Post by Virginia »

Hi Girls,
I have posted four new pictures on the photo gallery. Two in a white dress and two in a "sea mist" green. I just want some opinions on which would look better for SL and I at our "Committment Ceremony." Remember she is going to be wearing a beautiful wedding dress with a train and veil.
Thanks,
Love,
Virginia

They both look quite nice. Why don't you ask SL which one she would prefer. There are all sorts of things about wearing white to weddings that I would not dare to venture into, plus I would think it would just be a nice way to set a certain tone. Unless you have one you prefer.

By all means ask SL and do what she wants (I haven't been married for almost 32 years by being stupid :) ). But...if you want my opinion...the white one looks better on you. Green is my favorite color, but there is too much dress, at least from the picture. The white one seems to fit you better and looks great on you!

P.S. What are you wearing to Feilden's? Is it dressy or casual?

Virginia, I say the white/print dress would be best.

The blue reminds me of a member in a choir.

The club is dress as you wish. Some gals come dressed up, some quite casual and some, mmmm, fantasy.

I just picked up a gypsy/jean skirt at Cracker Barrel Monday, I'll probably wear. It'll go with most any top I have. Shoes are a question, however. Any suggestions?

Then again, I may wear a chocolate colored gypsy skirt. I bought shoes specific for it.

Both are nice..though I like the white one better. IMHO though, I would think your dress should contrast with SL's....Perhaps a darker blue, pink, a shade of red, or simply a black outfit. Whatever you decide....I envy you both and wish the best :)

Virgina,
Sweetheart you look wonderful in both outfits, but I believe the white one is a better look for you. By the way the check for $2,500 IS IN THE MAIL I would like a front row seat.

Carol Ann - Are you serious? You're going to come to Las Vegas? That would be awesome, and I'll guarantee you (and your wife?!) front row seats - free!

I do like both dresses and Virginia looks beautiful in them, of course. Now, as for my preference in Virginia's choice of attire for the Committment Ceremony, I will wait until more members have commented.

Besides, we're going out shopping again this afternoon - who knows? We might find yet another dress for her!!

Love ya!
