Strapless bra

I have size 7 (b cup) forms. I have several bras now and I wonder about strapless dresses???? I would love to wear one.

I know there are strapless bras, but can they be worn with breast forms? If so, is there a brand or style to look for?

In my recent searches and purchases of strapless bras...yes they will hold forms. But be aware..they are tighter than normal bras...physics, ya know. So are the dresses usually..to help stay up. I'm sure a SO here can add much more than me. The dress will be a major factor as far as support and you might find yourself doing minor adjustments as you wear it. I just bought normal strapless ones..like here at JC Penney.

Try one cheapo to try..then go for it...Hope this helped.

I have a long line bra almost a bustier from Walmart that has removably straps. And it works really well for strapples tops or thingly strapped ones... The long line also helps keep everything up and inplace better than a regular bra would... There's a photo or two in my Lingerie photo album at Yahoo.

Yes you can wear them...I have done it successfully several times.

However, a couple things to keep in mind. Pay attention to the style of the top you are wearing. Many (intentionally no doundt) allow for some sight lines down the top -- and if so need to be careful with the type of cup on the bra with the form you have -- I have some strapless that completely cover the form and some that clearly do not. I don't mind the bra being seen, but the form would be a little embarrassing.

I am a c cup with my forms, and a b cub with those add a cup cleavage enhancing things...so I will sometimes go down a size, use the enhancers, get some cleavage and still look good -- usually with a v neck type top or halter top.

The strapless are much tigher, and even with that, the other thing to watch out for is they still tend to slide down over time...Stormy teased me one night...the girls were drooping a lot,...have to watch that.

I recently tried a long-line strappless bra -- really tight (our rib cages are different after all) -- but it looked really good and stayed put. Downside was it wouldnt look right under anything to sheer/clingy.....

Like everything else --have to experiment and see what works for you..
