Selfish?

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Hi, Penni - your ears must have been ringing because I've been thinking of you lately, wondering how you and the family were doing, and voila! you come here and post tonight! :)

I am glad that you are growing and becoming a stronger person, not only for yourself, but for Marie, and the kids. Kids are resilient and more able to adapt than most adults, sorry to say; it seems that we adults don't give the kids enough credit (shame on us).

Thank you for posting an update. I believe that you are helping others by posting about your thoughts and feelings, your experiences - the good, the bad, or the ugly - and as a result we are learning from you.

I look forward to your updates - and I'm sure that many others do, too.

Penni if you fall in love with a man and then they become a woman, mourning the loss of the man you loved even as you still love the person they are is not selfish.

I would certainly have a very hard time accepting the idea that my wife wanted to become a man. And although I hope I would still love her it would be the end of our sex life and perhaps our marriage. I want to be married to a woman. I would hope that we could stay special friends.

I am terribly greatful not to have to find out how I would react to this. I give you tremendous respect for what you are attempting to do.
