I don't post much, I lurk somewhat and sometimes go a long time without even logging on to a CD site.

That said, it is really nice to be able to come to a very well run, very adult, very responsible support site. I know bashing other sites is never good form but that is exactly what prompted this post. The disturbing trend on another very large CD support site of marginalizing CD/TS/TG rights. Not treating them as an individual that deserves equality and respect at all times, but as an allowed 2nd class citizen. Ironicly also encuraging behavior involving using food in a lewd/sexual manner in a crowded theater while fetish dressed (among other listed adventures bordering on criminal lewd behavior) and threatening to temp ban members who dissagree.

Very shocked, very happy to be in this safe place.

This is definitely the best place to discuss crossdressing issues on the internet. The moderators do an excellent job in moderating the forum. There are more GG's and SO's joining and participating; many of them are looking for help with CD issues. This is a place for participation for everyone without the flaming and bashing of others that occurs on other forums.

Hey Ladies,

I didn't mean to slight our Mod Squad, who do an excellent job with nothing in it for them, except knowing they have helped create a great place to really understand what is going on with all this crossdressing stuff.

The number of SO's who come here is testament to a job well done. It is after all this dialog between the SO's and CDer's that make understanding possible, but it has been my experience that this does not occur unless the SO's feel they are not going to be attacked for saying what is on their mind.

In turn the CDer's benefit dramatically from getting to hear what the SO's are really thinking and feeling. But it all has to be friendly, respectable and leaving everyone's dignity in place.

That is what our Mods do. They all have my total respect and admiration.

Well, I guess a mod should in chime here. Speaking for myself, I think what draws good moderators (who start out as members) are, well, great members.

Like Elizabeth, when I found this site over three and a half years ago, I found a haven, a home, and life-saving coccoon.

I may not have always agreed with administrative decisions (even though I've always supported the admins) and although I may have had my differences with some members as a mod, this oasis on the net has always been a place I knew I could come to when I'm feeling down or stressed and not be turned away. People here are warm, gentle, smart, and humane. As far as the internet goes, this fact bucks the trend.

I take this opportunity to thank you all--admins, members, and other mods as well. Hats off to all of us.
