Tattoos

Post by Pat »

The only tattos that my body has, is a result of the numerous surgical operations that I've had over the years. So I don't plan for any unnecessary additions
Keeping them cupped comfortably.

tattooed

Post by Darlene »

I have several tattoos and they don't bother me usually. Two are on my back and never really seen, one is high on my arm and hidden under a short sleeve shirt. The other is on my forearm and it prevents me from wearing short sleeve blouses enfemme, which is a drag. I originally got the tattoo to celebrate the freedom from my former spouse. Ironically now it hinders my clothing selection which is a constant reminder of the former spouse, lol. I have thought about laser removal but have heard both pros and cons so I don't know how really successful that would be. Great topic though!

Hugs...

Personnal I think tattoos are always a bad idea. Some of them look good for a while but they fade. The only color that doesn't seem to fade is blue while red and other colors always fade. I've read you can get them removed but there can be problems.

I think many tattoos gals get are cute. Which is why I am sure many get them. But I also agree with Sissy:

And the fact that they are basically permanent. So I put them in the same group is breasts. They would be great to have when I wanted them. But when I did not want them they could be a major pain.

Darlene- I think Dermablend makes a concealer that hides tattoos. I'm not real sure but I think I read it on thier website.

Darlene,

Danette is right, Dermablend do make a cover for tattoos. Their products are for people with disfiguration on their skin, burns, port wine stains etc.

It has commonly been used in the UK TS/CD culture for many years.
It was possible to purchase at low cost a palette containing the range of shades.

The cost I recall was about £20 for single shade pot. Check them out, its professional stuff.

I have a tattoo, a big eagle on my upper arm. I tend to ignore it.
If people are going to read me it will from my gait, my belly or my beard shadow which will give the game away. Plus of course my 204 lbs on a six foot frame might give them a clue.

If its important to pass en femme, then good luck with dermblend.
