I am working as the volunteer coordinator for the Triad Pride Festival, being held in Greensboro, North Carolina on Saturday, August 25. We need volunteers!!! We will be working on event setup, takedown, providing information to visitors, etc. This is the first year of the event and we hope to make it a big success.

I'm sure for a little press/add space, they could round up a pretty big crew to help with it. They may already be working on something simular and there is no point in duplicating effort.
Glad to see you once in a while. You can put me down as a "probable" as a lot of things are going on and can happen between now and the 25th, but I would love to help if I can.
Please keep me informed as things develop. I am sure the "Pink Essence" group would also like to participate as well.

Thanks for the suggestion! Actually, Warehouse 29 is one of the venues for the festival and some of their folks are already helping out in various capacities. I do plan to check back with them when I return from vacation in a couple of weeks.
