Happy holiday!

Post by Valerie »

Hope everyone is having a great 4th holiday. My SO and I went to her brothers for a little cook out this afternoon. Had plenty to eat and many left overs. They have a pool but the weather didn't co-operate, with storms coming, so no swimming today, . Anyway, we just need to remember what this day is all about. That is the important thing, :) .

Well it was a rare day here, over 90 on the Coast. And the greatest natural beauty in the world is a California beach when its 90. The whole sand, beach, waves, ocean deal ain't bad either. So we had a cook out and now I'm off to the fireworks.

Hear in wonderful SE Mo. it was a perfect day, we combined the holiday and my son's birthday (7th) and we all had a great time. Believe it or not Carol Ann only had 2 cold ones as I was the head chef. Sorry no left overs, people were hungry OR I am a damn good cook. =D> :P

Well, Virginia had to work yesterday, and we were going to see the fireworks last night but they started an hour earlier than they had done in past years, so we missed out. :(

Carol Ann - We know you're a great cook, so I'm not surprised there were no leftovers . . . and I'm guessing there aren't any "cold ones" leftover, are there? :P
