~ Hello ~ I'm Renee from MN

Post by Renee D »

Hello everyone,

My name is Renee, I'm very happy to have found this site. I'm 48 and make my home just north of Mpls, MN. I'm divorced and after taking several years dedicated to raising my kids and self discovery, I was fortunate enough to reconnect with my first love. We have been together just over 2 years now. Honesty is tough sometimes, one of the hardest things I have ever done was tell her about my dressing. I was thrilled to find she is very understanding and supportive. She even said it explained a few things from those 30 or so years ago. It amazes me sometimes, to see the positive blessings in my life arise after walking through the negative blessings.

Renee,
Welcome to our "Island in the Stream!" We always need the input from those that have been there and done that!

You have met the criteria that we proport here and that is tell them on the the front end of the relationship, then what we call "baby steps." Don't force yourself on them and it seems to work for a lot of our sisters here.

We look forward to your participation.

Welcome to the Forum, Renee, and it's absolutely wonderful that your SO is accepting. She, too, is welcome to join the Forum, and we GG's even have an area that is off-limits to the CD's so we may post in private, if we so desire.

We look forward to your participation!

Hello Renee,
Welcome to our little place in the sun. Was wondering if your first wife knew of your dressing?. (--)

Welcome Renee, my wife and I were just in the Mpls area and up to Stillwater among other places. The area seems to be come our femme outing place. Lots to do and far enough from home and those we know. We have found it to be a very CDer friendly place. If you are interested there are two support groups in the area. CLCC which seems more social geared from our exposure at the Halloween party last year, and a Tri-Ess chapter which has some great people and couples involved. Again welcome.
