Regardless of why you choose to do housework enfemme; for me, every chance you get to dress, especially walk in heels, makeup, etc., is a step forward. The very fact that you are in a skirt (or dress) changes your mannerisms - like practicing getting out of a car gracefully. Being feminine takes practice - GGs have their adolescence to get it right.

I prance around the house in dress, full makeup and heels all the time. (Someone on this forum suggested I get heels and I love them!) Anyway, I love dressing up and doing things around the house. Someday I'll get caught by more of my kids and secretly I want to get it over with."but WHY en femme?"
Now that is some good advice.especially walk in heels, makeup, etc., is a step forward.
Have fun!
Huggs,
Carla

ShamrockFaerie, personally for me why I would dress in more feminine clothes to do things around the house is because that is the time I get to also have some femme time. I do not get a lot of time to spend wearing more feminine clothes with kids around the house. So when my wife takes the kids and I get some femme time i take it. But just because I am en femme does not mean things do not need to get done. I am also not one for sitting around the house doing nothing.
So I guess for me getting time to dress more feminine and doing things around the house is dual functional. And I agree with you functionally it does not make sense. But pink sweat pants and tee do nothing for me.
And besides, with my wife gone, who will go to the frig and get me my cold beer. Just Kidding.

]I love that you're cleaning, but WHY en femme? Am I totally an idiot here? For me, it's easiest to clean in grubby sweatpants and a t-shirt. I'd never DREAM of cleaning in a skirt, and CERTAINLY not in heels!
Of course, I think my husband may be developing a much more feminine wardrobe than mine.... I don't really wear dresses or skirts anyway. But still.... Seems to me like getting dressed up to clean is a bit silly.
I guess if you're having fun and getting it done, it doesn't really matter that much. Just seems strange to me.

I am a physically male person that likes to wear feminine clothes at times.
Just trying keep a balance for my self along with keeping my wife and kids in mind.

I just feel better about life in general when I'm en femme. Housework actually seems enjoyable (most of the time) when I'm in a skirt and short heels.
Vanity said that your mannerisms actually change when your dressed. I know for me that I move completely different(walking, bending to pick something up, sitting, even just standing still and doing dishes) while en femme. It seems that I naturally adopt a different posture.
Kimberly S said it best. You get to have some femme time and get some things done that need it anyway. The best(?) of both worlds.
My wife doesn't quite understand why I do so much while dressed but she sure isn't complaining. One of the "bennies" of being married to a CDer.
