A vacation dressed

Post by Melyssa Anne »

A few months ago my wife suggested that we go away for a long labor day weekend -- we being her and Melyssa. Needless to say I told her I thought that wass a great idea. So I have spent almost a week enfemme doing lots of different things and wearing lots of different styles of clothes.

We went to St. Louis -- abuout a 6 hour drive from here. Left here Thursday about lunch time and drove about half way there (we have a convertible--it was a perfect day to drop the top!). I wore comfy clothes for the drive -- Jean crops and a sleeveless top. We checked into the hotel and went to the mall (of course!) to go get pedicures and manicures. Stormy had suggested that I get acrylics put on -- so I did. I was a little nervous since that was new to me....but the whole experience in the salon was wonderful. :)

Got my nails done and polished in a nice red. While they were drying I talked with another woman who told us about a great shoe sale that Bergners was having -- 80% off the markdown price--tabels of shoes... =P~ =P~

So off we went -- then determined we couldn't shoe shop until the morning or risk messing up the pedicures. So dinner instead -- and then back to the hotel.

Next day--shopping day. Went back to the mall (dressed in white skirt and chocolate scoop neck top) and went shoe shopping. Spent between $3 to $8 per pai for shoes that were between 80-150 retail. Lots of cool shoes -- we each got like 5 pair. All these other women shopping--it was a real hoot---like somethin out of an old sitcom...all of us digging through shoe boxes, then swithcing places etc.

Then off to St. Louis, Lunch and more shopping -- downtown at some boutiques etc.

Saturday morning was the Zoo -- wore beige shorts and multi colored halter --- then off to Downtown St. Charles for more shopping.

Saturday evening we dressed up a little and went to the Casino. Took two tries. Missouri has a law that says everyone needs a players card to play at their Casinos -- and you need government issued pict ID to get it--and each table you sit down at you have to give them your card and they verify its you. For some reason that didnt appeal -- so we went across the river to East St. Louis (Illinois) and gambled there. We weren't as lucky as Steffie--but talked to some nice people and had fun and another nice dinner.

Sunday-- golfing--and it was hot! Wore a multi coloered skort and sleeveless top. Had a blast! I think I actually golf better dressed!! Went down to the pool that evening. Sat in the hot tub for a bit. I have a nice two piece -- tankini top and skirted bottom.

Monday we slept in -- and headed home. Hot again, halter and shorts. Stopped back at that mall to see what esle they had put out.Bought another pair of shoes and a dress ($100 dress for $14) and Stormy bought some cool things too and some clothes for fall for both of us -- we are already discussing who gets to wear what when...LOL

Then yesterday, I got up and dressed (wore a comy summer dress) and went out to some local malls--just enjoying the fact that I could (and I still had the cool nails on).

All in all a great weekend. and yes, I know, I am lucky to have a wife like Stormy. She said she had a good time to and that we should try and do this again!

I had such a good time and got to dress for many different situations.. thought I would share. One side note--My makeup held up in the extreme heat (took some maintenance) and never had a problem -- just blended in with all the other girls!

Great Melyssa, sounds like you and Stormy had a good weekend outing. Nothing like being away from home in a large metro area to help the outing go well. Would you tell us your reason for choosing to drive 6 hours to St. Louis for your outing weekend?

We drive just over 5 hrs away to Minneapolis. I highly suggest getting out of town to any other couples, especially for getting out the first time.

St. Louis is an area we like to visit -- we go that direction every year or so. We really like the zoo there and just the general area. And we wanted to get away from the house for a few days -- and thats the closest general area far enough away where there was shopping, and other fun things to do.

This was the longest stretchh I had ever dressed before -- wasn't sure how I would do or how Stormy would feel about all that time with her new girlfriend -- she's only known about Missy for 10-11 months.
And the biggest compliment I think she gave me was that it was very similar to traveling with her other girlfriends -- maybe even better.

Hi Melyssa,

I'm glad you had a good time and got to spend time with your wife too as girlfriends. Were you en-femme 24/7 during this time (even during sleeping hours)? Are you going to keep the acrylic nails for a while more or have them taken off?

It's nice to get away en-femme and even better to share it with a spouse. I hope you have many more adventures to share in the future!

Steffie -
No drab clothes were brought along (figured wiht the nails there was no point).

As far as the nails go--i am trying to decide what to do about them. I like having them. I see some minor advantages to keeping them on, and actually have another post out here (under fashion) asking if anyone has them full time. And if so--pros and cons. I know that I have seen a couple ladies out here that have them. Any thoughts? If I keep them, they won't be able to be very long. After the week away, I took off the red polish and put on a natural polish and I trimmed them down signficantly. They look very natural -- if you didn't know, you would think they were natural nails. But, in about a week, they either need to come off or get a fill.

I had crystal nails for about 7 months and I liked them. I kept them at moderate lenghth so I could use in both maile and female mode and used clear polish in male mode.

I originally had acrylic but they always turned yellow after a few days. That's from the methyl methacrylate. However when I switched to crystal, I didn't have that problem and I didn't have to worry about methyl methacrylate. They are not as strong as acrylic but never broke for me. You can go two weeks between fills. I took them off in late July only to give my nail bed a "rest" but I am going to put them back on soon for rest of year. I like the way they look.

If you like yours then get a fill and see how they are for a couple of weeks after. You can always get them taken off and unlike gels, acrylic or crystal don't have to be "hydroblasted" off.

Hi Melysssa:

Glad that you had a good vacation totally femme.

Last Feb i was away for 10 days, and totally femme for the whole time i was away. It was awsome.

In March I was away for vacation again for a month, was totally femme the whole time. It was awsome to be accepted as a lady where ever I went.
The only guy clothes that i took with me were one pair of shoes and jeans, as there were 2 times that I had to be drab, and look like the picture on my passport.

Other than that, I was femme for the whole month, and it was awsome. As I only had femme clothes with me, I had no alternative but to be femme the whole time.

The big let down was when i returned home and had to go back to being drab, but i am looking forward to a vacation in Nov. when Denise will go again
