A vote of confidence

Post by Lisbeth »

I'm as happy as a clam at high tide. I got dressed last night and I was pleased with how I looked. Make up was done well, mascara, shadow and lips all nice too. I had on a short denim skirt and a light sweater/blouse that was once my mother-in-laws. My wife ended up with it and she gave it to me. It fits me perfectly. With a pair of black pumps on one end and my wig on the other I was ready to go. I had intended to take a ride and see how bold I felt but that didn't pan out. A car had broken down and called for help and when it arrived, in the form of a long flat bed, they proceeded to work on the car while partially blocking my driveway. So I chickened out and just enjoyed the evening. I took some pictures and a short video of me walking away from the camera and then back. I liked the look.
This morning I showed my wife the pictures and the video and she got a kick out of them. Well, today she had an appointment with her therapist and said that she would love for her to see the pictures. I loved the idea. I know this therapist from a few years ago and until my wife told her that I cross dressed she had no idea. From what my wife tells me it sounds lke this woman knows a great deal about it. Too much to be something new to her.
Anyway, I loved the idea of letting someone other than my wife and step-daughter see me. I wanted to know her reaction.
When my wife finally came out of the office I was busting a gut with anticipation. My wife said that she loved them and she said that I could TOTALLY pass. I was thrilled! Her only advice for me was to not get pulled over when I'm driving en femme.
I'm lacking the confidence I need to just go for it. I know I'm gaining more and more of it everytime I get a positive reaction. My wife fully expects me to walk into a store and buy something. I know I will but....

I wouldn't worry about being pulled over. If it happens, just be honest.

I reckon it does take time to buildup the nerve to go in a store, but it sounds like you've got a good support team, so have fun.
