Taking a trip
Looks like my wife and I will be headed up to Niagara Falls on the 5th of Oct. with a possible side trip to Toronto. She collects Hard Rock pins, and there's one in both places.
So, I'm reckoning that the best part of Niagara to stay in is on the Canadian side, based on hotels avaible through an Internet search.
Sound about right?

Going to Niagara Falls
The Canadian side of the Falls, is much the prettier side, and you also get a much better view of the Horse Shoe Falls.
As for Motel rooms, there are lots of them there, and that time in Oct. you should have no problems getting a room. If you stay back from the falls a couple of streets, the prices should be more reasonable, and yet you will be close to everything.
As for a Side trip to Toronto, that is a must, if you have time.
Toronto is very Transgender friendly, and I am sure that you will enjoy many of the activities there is to do there.
Please tell us how your trip went, we would love to hear.
I have not been to Niagara Falls for a few years now, but am hoping to get there some time this winter.

Having a Trip
Just one thought Donna.
If the motel rooms are all booked up in Niagara Falls, and/ or
too pricy, you might want to Try some of the Motels in St. Catharines.
St. Catharines is a very pretty city, and is only about 15 miles down the QEW highway, very easy to get to.
The leaves are turning colour up here early this year, and you might also see some beautiful fall colours
Have a good trip, and Lets hear about it
