Name the band or person that played the following tunes.
White wedding
Dynamo hum
Call me
Just what I needed
Down with the sickness
Tie your mother down
Never in my life
Going down
Political science
Sugar daddy
Celebrate
Momma told me not to come
Bonus question. One of my favorite songs with the late, great,Terry Kath on guitar. Twenty five or six to four.
PS. Don't let me catch you Googling! I'll tell you one story. I remember when I was young and my Dad walked in my room and I was, lets just say, spending a little time with myself. He said"Stop that right now! You'll go blind". I yelled back" HEY POP! I'M OVER HERE!"
Match the song to the band Rocksters!

PS. That reminds me of the rope incident when I was a young girl! My Mom had gone to the grocery store and I was home with my older sister. I was about 9 and she was 13. I said"Christine.I have a great idea." Laycee,Ifyou ever those words come out of mouth, run! There's trouble ahead.
My sister and I got all the rope we could find and a big ball of twine out of the cellar and we thread it through the whole house . It looked like a giant spider web inside and my Mom went nuts when she walked in the door. Boy Laycee, was little Jeannie's heinie sore after that one!

Songs and Artists
Although I am a music journalist, I specialize in stuff that fits loosely into the "folk" and "world" categories. Don't write much about "rock" any more.
Of the pieces listed, I knew five. Three of those were guessed correctly by someone else. I believe "Political Science" was by Randy Newman (but then a small voice in my head is whispering Thomas Dolby. ) So I'm not really sure about that one. But I AM sure about "25 or 6 to 4." I believe that was on the first album by CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY (released when I was a senior in high school!).
A belated HAPPY HALLOWEEN to one and all.
Peace-- Kendra Lynn.
