Talk about your thread resurrection. The last time I posted here, I wasn't even going out dressed up. Now I am, and I find that it's almost impossible to focus without some sort of music going in the background. I set up my little CD boombox on the table where I do my makeup and hair. My soundtrack's gotten a bit eclectic of late:

Oakenfold, A Lively Mind (trance)
Wolfmother
Gwen Stefani, Love Angel Music Baby
Sheryl Crow, Wildflower
Living Colour, Live From CBGB Tuesday 12/19/89

Plus a little disc I mixed up myself at Borders, with stuff from Kelly Clarkson, Staind and Nickelback.

I like to rock!

A few come to my mind. "Dude looks like a Lady" by Aerosmith, "Call Me" by Blondie and my favorites "Wig in a Box and Sugar Daddy" from Hedwig! Oh Yeah! Sweet! Hugs!

PS. Absolutely no Barry Manilow! Puuulease! Shoot me first! I must confess I saw "The boy from Oz" on broadway with Hugh Jackman and he did a fabulous job singing Copacabana" Is that Hugh Jackman cute or what? Whoa! I'm having a hot flash ladies! :)

Anything by Bjork or Enya. I just love their voices. I have just reciently started listening to another voice, Emilie Autumn you have to appreciate her message in her lyrics to appreciate her.

Jazz and the smoother the better. I mean, nice heels, a good red wine and some Botti, Benson, or even Krall. Ahh talk about inspired now - what a shame I'm busy tonight.

Jazz is quite nice Jacqui while sipping a glass of wine but sometimes I need to Rock Out so I have a Jack Daniels, straight up and toss on "We are just Animals" by Nickleback. Whoa! You get dressed in hurry Hon! That's a smokin' tune! Hugs

I mostly listen to pop acts like Christina Aguilera, Liz Phair, and Michelle Branch. Sometimes to mix it up, I headbang to death metal bands like Hate Eternal and Necrophagist.

Gotta have Little Miss Dangerous by Ted Nugent, or depending on my mood, Looks That Kill by Motley Crue
