Hi, everyone!

Post by Kay Henderson »

My name is Kay. I'm 66 years old and have been crossdressing since the age of seven. I'm happily married to an understanding wife, and I have just begun doing volunteer work as a woman.

Rather than go into a lot of details here, I'll refer you to my blog, where I'm keeping a journal of my experiences as a transgendered person working in the real world:

Hi Kay,

I think you will find that several of your sisters here have and do volunteer work as their "alter-egos." That is a great thing with several advantages. First, they usually won't fire you and if they do it speaks volumes about the organization that can turn away anyone who wishes to help others. Second it is a nice way to introduce "us" to "them."

Look forward to your participation with us.

Exactly.

That wasn't my intent, of course. But as things progressed I realized I have a golden opportunity to teach people to appreciate us as individuals. I'm not at all thin-skinned, and they'll soon learn that I'm happy to answer any questions they may have.
