Hi I'm Siobhan

Post by Siobhan Anders »

Hi, I'm Siobhan I'm in my mid 40's and have been crossdressing since childhood. This is the most difficult thing I have ever done, to tell somebody else and it terrifies me, I hope that you girls will understand the situation

Hi Siobhan, -wel- to the forum.

Remember, you are an anonymous person here, so don't be frightened.

And I guess this isn't the same Siobhan that is on the other forum?

Greetings and Welcome Siobhan! If you look at other posts in this area of the forum, you will find many of us who were in the same place as you at some time. As Donna said, you are anonymous here so just join in the discussions and enjoy!

We have a regularly scheduled chat time on Saturdays beginning 8 PM Eastern (US) time but the chat area is always available.

No it's not the same Siobhan, I felt I needed a femme name along time ago and this was the only woman I could be and it simply felt right.

I didn't think it was, but it's not a name one see's too often, and I've only seen it once before.

Welcome, again.

Welcome Siobhan,

As has been pointed out this is an anonymous forum. For example I don't even have a picture here.

For decades my mantra was "noone will know" I am still very private (secretive might be a better word) about what I like to wear. But it was a big relief to participate in these forums.

It's an interesting name. How did you choose it?

Thanks for the great welcome, as to the name I suppose it chose me, I have always been interested in words and this one seem to strike a chord with me, nothing special. For those girls that would like to know a little more about me, I started CDing at around 11 but was caught by my father who decided in his infinite wisdom to beat me in the hope I would stop but he failed miserably, to this day though that event has left its mark so I have always been reluctant to come out to anyone as he made me feel as if it was something dirty or wrong. I just felt it was time that my voice coud be heard and that I could associate with others that did not feel it was wrong as it harms none, especially since I find it difficult to talk about, but this is a start.

Welcome. I also found how nice it was to have someone else to talk to about by feminine side. This is a wonderful place. Brend Anne

Hi siobhan,
Thanx for posting here and pls don't be shy about continuing ... I for one am not able to dress these days and I rather miss it, so it's real good to be able to chat about it with other understanding souls ... although he never knew that I knew, my Dad was a cder as well as a very strong and sensitive and caring and kind soul and in some ways it gives me the shivers to think about how I admired his collection  and still miss the excitement of a brief shopping trip and the coming home and trying on expperience ... and even though I like me fine now, except for the being ill part of my present condition, I think there was something nicer about the cd in me =D> even if I do say so myself

whatever you do, keep on dropping in here and letting us know how you're doing and I'll be wishing you all the best (--) ``5

if you need any encouragement, buy something new and wear it, OK?

I am always buying something new, I have found ebay a good resource as I, even now, do not have the bravado of you girls and simply going into a shop and buying something, I know it is only the money that the assistants are really after but I am completely self conscious about femme shopping although I have found that I am what might be called a perfect size 10, but with a motorcycle jacket I look about size 14, it still makes no odds, I will give it away simply by some nervous glances and avoiding eye contact just to simply escape. By the way, girls, did I tell you I am so shy when I plucked up the courage to go out en femme it took me  3 and a half hours to get away from my front door, in saying that once I did it was 2am not a soul was to be seen and I spent the next 2 hours wandering along the river Thames just for the joy and freedom I felt simply being me. :)

Well, at least ebay is cheaper (usually) than the shops.
