The last couple of days have been fairly good.
I met with several members of the MHB forum for dinner in DC on the 13th. One person came in from England, one from Arizona, one from New York City, and three others from DC.
We had dinner at Georgia Browns, about a half block from my Office, which was convenient. It was either there or McCormick and Schmicks.
Glad it was GB's because yesterday my wife took me to M&S for valentine's dinner. She had made reservation in January.
Last night she put a bunch of faux rose petals on my side of the bed. I got in bed with the lights off and didn't notice the petals. Around 2AM I woke and felt something rough on one of my hands. I pulled it from under the covers and set it on top of the blanket, then felt more and began wondering what the heck? So I was pulling more this stuff out from around me, and then it dawned on me what she had done, so I knew it was futile to keep fighting them.
I'm glad I was wearing my long nightgown, as it kept them off my skin.
