did stephenie finally go out en-fem ?
Yes . today I put on my wig foundation, eye shadow, blush, lipstick . I wore a nice tan turtle neck top , black skirt , my brown bra , tights & my 3in boots & off to the mall I went (can't leave house like that so I first went to park to put on wig & skirt even though it was -5 just had to see what it was like full en-fem) all set . off to the mall (30 mins drive ) . Got to mall , time to get out ,was I scared ( strangely no) it was still cold so I had to wear my winter coat which made it less fun. Do i pass or blend well not likely to much of a male face & eyebrows. (even with make -up).Did I enjoy walking the mall ? yes , do it agian ? liked wearing a skirt for first time ,yes , a bra ? yes ,but not sure if I'd go with my wig. People who noticed , didn't giggle or say anything rude ( just turned head)but when I dressed with heels , my fem-jeans in male mode ( I have gotten gigles for the heels but mostly smiles) i felt like I was saying yes i'm a guy , yes I like to wear womens clothes ( especially the heels & tight fem jeans ) so what, I should be able to wear what I want just like the ggs . So i'm not sure if I was to concerned about passing/blending to not enjoy it as much( I did like the way i looked head down ) or I 'm just a guy who likes to blaze new trails or maybe it was just the weather .

Stephenie, Glad you had a good outing. I seem to go against the grain a lot, but I still think a mall is a great place for first and any outing. Some of the first ones should be done during the slower times without kids.
The task and path to finding out who you are as a person and then accepting who you are can take a bit of trial and error. I hope Safely. No one else can give you the answers. Others of us can give you directions to look and go, but only you can take the paths and figure out who you are. The answers are within yourself.
I can tell you from personal experience that presenting a male or female image that is something in between is not popular within the TG community. I actually seem to get more acceptance and tolerance from the general public than within the TG community.
What ever you figure out you are as a person, your personal acceptance will carry you through. In fact others challenging who I was has made me even more sure in who I am as a person.

I am a physically male person that likes to wear feminine clothes at times.
Just trying keep a balance for my self along with keeping my wife and kids in mind.

Congratulations Stephenie
I'm so pleased, I've said it before, you and all the girls out there are an inspiration to those of us still looking out from behind the curtains.
Kims comment about personal acceptance is so true.

sorting the new feelings
Thanks Kimberly & Kay yes trying to find that balance Kimberly is so true. that balance between family , cd-ing , my fem-side which only has come out for a couple of years & it did start till I was 38. Now these new feelings of wanting to go further like wearing make-up, bras , etc have come on strong as of late so I kinda feel like a teenager . there are times I think i should purge all my remaining male jeans, underwear , & dress full time as a women , then my mind says woe you have a wife ,son , job, church & you have to consider them . Its not just your life anymore you have to share with others .I normally do shop during slow periods at mall & there are parts of my cd-ing i tottaly except & parts SO is willing to tolerate at least for now. thanks again for reminding me its more than just me . love what you put at the bottom of you're posts , it decribes me also . thanks again for the post Stephenie g
