Teddy Bears
The teddy bears are coming!
I can hear their favorite song, "The Teddy Bears' Picnic" playing in my mind. I can hear the teddy bears coming. They're pushing a wheelbarrow full of fluff (pillow/teddy bear stuffing), with which to put into my head, replacing all that nasty thought!
They are carrying me off to bed.
Good night everyone!
Anyone else have teddy bears?

I have a Teddy Bear that my Grandmother gave me.
I had a GF who had an old Teddy Bear that was like her confidant, so I wrote a poem for them. Well, my mother read it and somehow got a copy to my Grandmother and, not knowing where the inspiration came from, bought me a Teddy Bear.
I've carried it around with me for about 25 years now. It is one of two items that goes where ever I move, the other being my cowboy hat that I've had since 1977!
I wouldn't be me without them!

I own a teddy bear that I've slept with, but my more common bed companion of late has been one of those squishy pillow things that I found at WalMart, shaped like a pink hippo. It's bright pink, and the shell is some sort of nylon/spandex weave. It's very soft, very cuddly. Sometimes I use it as a pillow (as intended), but more often than not I fall asleep with my arms around it.

Hi all,
So, you sleep with a pink hippo eh, Jaye? Oh well, I've heard worse.
Lately, the guardian of my pillow is a sleek and eminently huggable black panther given to me by a friend. He wears one of my black lace garters as a collar. It suits him to a T.
Aaahhh, it's a plush world, indeed!
Love,
CJ
