Hi Lilly,

Sorry about the delay. I didn't see this here.

Cami is doing great and is just as cute as ever. :) She's really loving the game. :)

Again I do apologize for being tardy with my response.

Whats "City of Heroes?" I haven't heard of that one?

Its no use me trying Sim anything.
I always fail miserably with that game.

I've got stuck in NeverWinter, I have advanced to Chapter 3 and entered the a Lords domain and cant proceed any further. I'll have to rethink my strategy.

Hi Kerri,

It's an online game. http://www.coh.com It's really fun. :) You finally get to be the super heroine you've always wanted to be. :)

The bonus about these online RPGs is you can ask for help from others and you get through tough areas instead of always having to be alone.

I also play World of Warcraft. I started playing it the moment it came out and stopped playing the other game all together. I like the relaxed atmosphere in WoW and the fact that it's more like the Neverwinter Nights and D&D stuff I'm use to (Warlocks, Warriors, Priestesses, Mages, Orcs, etc)

I hope this helps explain what it is and I owe you an apology too for not getting back to you sooner. I was gaming though! :) :)

Well... I have a program called RPG maker on my computer that I'm learning how to use... but I don't think that anyone would want a 2-D RPG about crossdressing..

As far as RPGs go, though, I'm a big fan of the Final Fantasy series (hence the avatar and the screen name), but I also just like the name Celes. My favourites in the series areVI (No, I do not mean the one with Cloud and Sephiroth, I mean the last 2-D Final Fantasy) and VIII.

Hi Celes,

Sorry I took so long to respond.
I am not sure what the Final Fantasy series is. Maybe because I have spent so many years in the Sword Coast series.

What is a 2-D RPG ?

a 2-D RPG is just and RPG that is 2-Dimensional. I'm mostly into console RPGs... so I don't know much about table top RPGs, but there are a lot of D&D players in my unit.

Hi Celes,

Table top RPG is something I havent done for years. In my days in the airforce table top RPG was very popular. Most bases had a Club which met once or twice per week.

In the eighties I also did RPG on computer where everything was text based. You know the style" you have entered a dark room, there are exits to the N S E & W. You hear the sound of deep breathing, the odour of fetid dogs breath fills the air.........etc" I dont thonk there is a place for CD'ing in that story line.

There has to be potential though in 3D RPG like Baldurs Gate and NeverWinter. Now you can zoom right in and see the features on the face of your character. I geta kick out of playing the female role in my RPG's.
My arse even wiggles in NeverWinter. Kool!

Hia Ladies ((G))

Have/has anyone tried A.D.N.D (Advanced Dungeons And Dragons) (2nd editon i play/played) there is no rules to say your charactor cannot crossdress, you can play female charactors without anyone in the group giving any stigma and their are magical equipment that can be picked up like the "Girdle of Mascanilinity/Femininty" which can change the gender of the charactor when first put on. (a high level remove curse can reverse the effects but who would want to..lol)

A.D.N.D is a RPG which is not on a board, but rather uses pen, paper, dice the imagination and a gsoh.

As a DM (dungeon master) Dm's love variety, the only main cost is the books and their are quite a few.. unless you can find a online site that you can download them from and or someone else (usually a DM) that has a set.

The three min books required is
- Dungeons Masters Handbook
- Player's Handbook
- Monster (monsterous) Manual

crossdressing isnt a hobby, its the way of expressing your inner woman.

Hi there,

I think you all would like World of Warcraft from your descriptions. :) I love being a gal in an online world where I can interact with people and they treat me like a gal. :)

The game plays a lot like D&D games, but it's just nicer to look at and interact with real people.

Hi all,

Here's a bit of a weird thing. One of my female colleagues has been playing EverQuest online (on the PS2) for about three years, now. Well, a few months ago, she logged on and discovered that her character (a female healer) had gotten a makeover. All the characters (NPC's included) had gotten a makeover. She was sorely disappointed. She'd come to enjoy her imperfect looking appearance; she firgured it mirrored her own imperfect looks, in a way. But, now, suddenly, she finds she has much bigger breasts, a tiny waist, and a full, round derrière. She was incensed! "Hey! That's not me!" she said. Anyway, she's gotten used to it now, but she can't figure out why that happened.

Raven,

I hear you. In the 90's I even owned a Nintendo64 toothbrush, believe it or not! :P Just over two years ago, I bought an XBox, and early last year purchased a GameCube. I stopped playing my Nintendo64 games almost entirely, so I sold the console and games (I had about 50 games), along with the GameCube (too "kiddie" for me). I had the games you mentioned, except for Starfox64. They were a blast to play and I miss them now. I was a fan of Nintendo's platformers (Mario64, RayMan, The Legend Of Zelda: The Ocarina Of Time, etc.), FPS's (Goldeneye, Quake, Duke Nukem: Zero Hour, etc.), and Horror Survival games (Resident Evil 2, etc.). My suggestion is this, Raven: don't get rid of your N64 games. Although the console is easy to find (for as low as $15, used), some of the games are now near impossible to get a hold of. There's a rumour in the industry that Nintendo plans to market a "converter" of sorts that would allow gamers to play their Nintendo64 cartridges on the GameCube (don't know how that would work out).

You know, I've played with the Nintendo64 controller, and the PlayStation, GameCube, and XBox ones as well, and I've never found one to be as comfortable as the Nintendo64 controller. Oh well. Fancier isn't always better, eh?

Right now, I'm on the XBox. I just finished Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay, 007: Everything Or Nothing, Myst III: Exile (for the third time, now), and Halo 2. I'm currently playing Second Sight, Silent Hill 4: The Room, Outlaw Golf 2, Metal Arms: Glitch In The System, Colin McRae Rally 2005, Run Like Hell, and, yes, Halo 2 (hey, who can get tired of that one? :P ). I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of Doom3 and Half-Life 2.

Like my tastes in books and music, my tastes in video games are very wide. I don't really tune into RPG's all that well (I've played Morrowind with passing interest; I've never played The Sims), but I'll try anything. I own about 50 XBox games (which I usually buy used).

I've also downloaded a couple of emulators on my PC with a collection of classic arcade game ROM's (Donkey Kong, Ghosts 'n' Goblins, Time Pilot, etc.). From 1990 to 1995, I worked in a video game arcade. I guess my love of gaming will never go away.

Love,
CJ
