Great afternoon/evening out enfemme
Well another company sponsered crossdressing even.... nothing like crossdressing on an expense account!! hehe Had a meeting in centrl WV so drove down the night before... enfemme... 3 hour drive, changed at a nearby rest area. Drank too much diet coke so had to hit the ladies room at each of the 4 rest areas I passed!! Bumped into this young girl going into one and she said "Sorry, Maam"...
Did a little shopping at a Kmart, dinner at Wendys but did not check into the hotel enfemme... Chickened out... Still have that fear of putting my real name and credit card ino out there with the fact that I crossdress.....
Ohhh well... Here's some photos....

Karren,
Well, I am from the same school, that is with the ex-wife. I have no doubt I could out dress her on my very worse day! She does have an excuse in that she had red(ish) hair, but gheesh, she always wore such bland looking stuff. Anyway that was another life time. I am still considering dressing up and going to visit her and her parents ---SL thinks that unless they saw my car or I spoke they would not recognize me at all. Still thinking about doing it.
You really do look good!!!!!!

I don't think anyone in the ex-family, even the "kids", would recognize you - - unless you spoke or if they saw your car or us together, that is. You know that I would be the give-away clue to your identity, unfortunately. I would just *love* to witness their reactions, though, and to get some pictures of the event if/when it happens - time to get out my zoom camera!!Virginia wrote:I am still considering dressing up and going to visit her and her parents ---SL thinks that unless they saw my car or I spoke they would not recognize me at all. Karren - You look absolutely wonderful, and you definitely pass, IMHO! Thank you for sharing your photos, I really enjoy looking at them!!

Hi Karren--
The pictures are good--you do know how to take pictures! Really like that mirror shot; you look very happy there.
Getting a femme name credit card is probably not going to help you out if it's a business expense and/or a company card. I have femme debit cards, but hardly ever use them when dressed. I'm seldom asked to show ID, so it really doesn't matter whose name is on the card.
But I hope you can get around the check-in bottleneck somehow. I have a post-op friend who traveled a lot in her former corporate job. On her trips, she did everything enfemme except the actual meetings. She was a very high-profile person in the company, and she was also using company cards. So I'll ask her how she dealt with that.

Thanks..... Well, I still have that nagging thought in the back of my head everytime I start a new adventure, that I look like a guy in a dress.... but that fades after the first few encounters with the public... And I like the idea of making a reservation in my wifes name and maybe even borrowing her credit card... same numbers, different name...
So maybe next time out I'll give it a try. Also plan to take the subway enfemme and take a rails to trails bike rider enfemme this years..... Got to have goals!! hehe
Love Karren

Hi Karen--
I did talk to my friend, and she said she never had a problem with check-ins and other matters. This was in the discussion part of a meeting, and I didn't get details on why she felt comfortable with this, though. As I've said, I seldom if ever get asked to show ID for my Visa debit card, but hotels may be different in this regard.
My own experiences with hotels the last four years have always been as part of the band, so I just show up and go to my assigned room. I haven't had to check in under my own name, so I don't know the procedures. They haven't asked for ID, though. Maybe one of these days I'll find someone else in my room when I get there--who knows?
Michelle had to travel all over the country for her job, and she hasn't talked about the post 9-11 airline problems she might have encountered before her name change became legal. I remember that she started encountering the reverse passing problem--people began "ma'am" ing her when she was dressed 'male,' too.
I hope you can get out on the rail trails soon. They're fun no matter what gender you happen to be that day!
